Japanese Firms Hold $56 Billion in Fannie/Freddie Debt Securities
Japan's three megabanks and major insurance companies combined had nearly 9 trillion yen ($56 billion) in debt securities issued by U.S. lending giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as of March 31, according to business daily Nikkei.
