A few months back I was online signing up for an online service when my computer crashed. I was about half way through the sign up process--beyond the point where I left my email address. By the time I managed to log back on, there was an email in my inbox from the service provider offering a lower price if I completed the registration process.
Now I regularly end my sign up process on the page after where I leave my email address, invariably anywhere from a few minutes to a day later in my mailbox a better deal arrives.
