Crisis Economics: A Crash Course in the Future of Finance by Nouriel Roubini and Stephen Mihm is scheduled to be published May 11.
I am not expecting big things. Roubini's policy prescriptions are generally his weakest area.
The book might be of limited value if he provides us with insights into what the thinking might be going on in the Obama Administration. Roubini is really tied in. He is tight with Treasury Secretary Geithner, Fed Chairman Bernanke and, he had Larry Summers on his payroll before Summers joined the administration as the top economic advisor.
