Elizabeth Warren Makes Another White House Visit

Elizabeth Warren met with President Barack Obama at the White House Tuesday, adding to speculation she could be named to head the new consumer protection agency, the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau, reports HuffPo.

Warren also met with senior administration officials last month.

There is justifiable fear on Wall Street that Warren will be named by the President to the head the CFPB. I have heard across the board (from the highest levels of Wall Street to D.C. insiders) concern about Warren. She is viewed as extremely headstrong, unwilling to compromise, and at the same time clueless about finance.

A recess appointment by Obama is feared.

  1. Will this go down or will mid term election fears plus Treasury Dept being against her be enough to stop this ?
