Big Pow Wow in D.C.: Geithner Meets with Kissinger, Rubin, Schultz and the Chinese

Tuesday is a serious day for Treasury Secretary Geithner.

In the morning, Geithner has one on one face time with the President. Then:

In the afternoon, the Secretary will meet with, according to Treasury, "a high level group of distinguished Americans and Chinese to discuss bilateral economic relations.  Participants include former Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan and Ambassador Yang Wenchang, President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, and former U.S. Cabinet members [Former Secretary of Stat]e Henry Kissinger, [Former Treasury Secretary] Robert Rubin, [Former Defense Secretary] William Perry, [Former Secretary of Labor, State and Treasury] George Schultz and [Housing and Urban Development Secretary] Carla Hills."

Folks, this is when the deals get done.
