Google Tipsters Disclose that Google Tipster was Fired

You may need a flow diagram to understand this one.

Last night, Business Insider got hold of an internal memo from CEO Eric Schmidt—for "Googlers only"—which said they'd be receiving 10 percent raises plus a cash bonus for the holidays. The source added that the bonus would be $1,000.

The tipster was fired by Google. How do we know this?

Tipsters told CNNmoney that the (first) tipster was fired.

  1. The tipster probably sent the email from his/her private email, but on the company network. Google is the most likely company on Earth to monitor and store employee internet traffic. Schmidt made the right decision to lose the intellectual lightweight.
