Donald Trump Disses Ron Paul

Donald Trump told a rowdy crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., today, that "Ron Paul cannot get elected, I'm sorry,"  reports CBS News. Trump is considering a run for the presidency.

Huh!

Here's a few things you should know about Donald Trump. He was born with an oligarch's spoon in his mouth (No wonder he can't shut up). His first major deal in Manhattan was  the renovation of the Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt. The deal could have never been done without major tax breaks from NYC.  His deal was the first tax abatement for a commercial property in Manhattan, ever. Back then,Trump used the very powerful lawyer Roy Cohn  and hired the Governor's top fund raiser. Typical oligarch moves.

As for his personal fortune, in a funny coincidence I just happened to have drinks last week with someone who works very closely with Trump, she told me that Donald is doing very well for himself, but it's the properties that were put together by Trump's father, when he was alive, that hold the real big wealth, many times more than what Donald has created on his own.

As for his political views, I don't pay much attention to Trump, but I do recall him bashing the Fed, possibly on Larry King Live.  But Trump wasn't bashing because the Fed had printed too much money, but because it wasn't printing enough!

Bottom line: Trump couldn't tell you the difference between an Austrian school economist and a Keynesian, even if his oligarch spoon depended on it.

Don's a real estate developer. He's probably figured out who's first in line to get the new money and how fract. res. banking can be used to pump up prices.

"...it's the old man, Fred, who still has the real big bucks, many times more than what Donald has."

Fred C. Trump, son of Friedrich Drumpf of Austria, died on the 25th of June, 1999.

  2. I was flipping through radio channels last week and stopped on Michael Savage's show for a minute, not because I like him, but because I was hearing some war hawk blathering on about how Obama was losing control of the situation in Egypt, and how we needed to get in their with CIA operatives to work behind the scenes and start controlling the mess. After a minute of listen I discovered it was Donald Trump being interviewed. The most ominous line I heard him say was something to the effect of: We have the most powerful military in the world and we aren't using it.

The man sounded like a war hawk protectionist.

  5. If you remember, Trump was one of the businessmen trotted out by the government in support of the bail-outs in 2008, as in, see - even the free marketers think the government should step in.

  7. Sorry guys I meant to put Fred's estate. Corrected--Or I guess, technically, the old man's properties in Queens, whoever holds them now.

  8. I listened to the Donald recently try to give an economic explanation of why Obama's policies were bad for the economy in general. In his answer he had some Marxist assumptions combined with a little Keynesianism wrapped in Smithian free market rhetoric. In other words, when it comes to economic understanding he's equivalent to your typical neo-con.

  9. Trump has the character of a little boy and he is also too weak and stupid to get away with lying. This little boy has made his fortune from the Fed counterfiet money racket...Money printing that makes the "value of his real estate" skyrocket. He does say the most stupid things...Like a little emotion-driven boy.
