Who Is Barack Obama?

Donald Trump intensifies the focus on the background of President Obama. It goes beyond the birth certificate issue. NBC New York reports:
Manhattan real estate mogul Donald Trump suggested in an interview Monday that President Barack Obama had been a poor student who did not deserve to be admitted to the Ivy League universities he attended. Trump, who is mulling a bid for the Republican presidential nomination, offered no proof for his claim but said he would continue to press the matter as he has the legitimacy of the president's birth certificate.

"I heard he was a terrible student, terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?" Trump said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I'm thinking about it, I'm certainly looking into it. Let him show his records."..."I have friends who have smart sons with great marks, great boards, great everything and they can't get into Harvard," Trump said. "We don't know a thing about this guy. There are a lot of questions that are unanswered about our president."
Will the focus go all the way back to the connection between Obama's mother and Geithner's father ?

  1. The chances of us ever finding out the truth in the near future are so remote.
One day someone will have to write a treatise on this insanity we are living through.

  2. Not to defend Obama, but bad students get in to Harvard and Columbia all the time. George W. Bush went to Yale AND Harvard; where the hell was Trump 5-6 years ago?

  3. Five or six years ago Trump was pushing for socialized medicine and higher taxes so he was too busy to know anything about Bush.

  4. I'm just amazed at all the important people Donald Trump apparently knows. I'm really looking forward to this campaign. I hope he opens up more about his successful life, and isn't shy about sharing details with millions of strangers.

  5. These birther posts should have a "Funny" tag attached. Similarly, any post that includes the name "Donald Trump". I want to believe he's doing this as a piece of Gatsby-ite performance art, a joke on the poors that makes the riches laugh when they see Republicans polling him at 20%. Sadly, I think this is legitimate self promotion, an exercise in brand building designed to help him build his rather tenuous fortune. Anyway, it doesn't matter. No one who has a real say would ever let him be president. What a funny joke.

  6. I think Mr. Wenzel is right about the Obama-Geithner CIA connection.

  7. Still, I hope he takes many of these clowns down with him, and especially Obama.

  8. From Bogart:
I love the fact that Trump could run for president and make a complete fool out of himself and the Republican Party which I have come to dislike and in cases like the warmonger group formerly lead by McCain just despise.

Face it, there is no difference between the Republicans and Democrats. They have both ignored the advice of the great Austrian Scholars: Mises, Hayek and Rothbard and instead embraced the destructive fantasy that they and the gods at the Federal Reserve are smart enough to run the most complex economy in the world while continuing their fantasy that they can civilize the uncivilized by unleashing death, destruction and mayhem.

  9. Bush of course, had better college grades than Al Gore and a high military IQ than John Kerry and these can both be verified if you would bother to search.

Obama gets into Harvard with low grades as well. It seems to me that the elitist democrats are actually self concocted strawmen when all the chips are down.

  10. I don’t want Trump to be president or even on the ballot as the Republican or an Independent candidate. However, I could not be happier about his campaign to force Obama to reveal some very basic information about himself that every other serious candidate for the presidency has had to share. It’s about someone taken on this glaring double standard.

  11. has anyone considered a trump primary run being good for the ron paul campaign? trump voters are way more likely to vote for another stooge like romney than paul. he could be like the ralph nader of douchebags.
