Ron Paul Supporters Out Play Romney's former Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor

Mitt Romney's former Lieutenant Governor, Kerry Healey, lost her delegate bid to a Ron Paul supporter at the Massachusetts Republican convention Saturday. BuzzFeed calls it an alarming sign about Romney's organization in his old home state.
With the nomination in hand, Romney had put together a slate of Mass. delegates to represent him at the Republican National Convention in Tampa — but a surge of libertarian activists at the convention resulted in the defeat of many of Romney's picks.
More than half of the 27 delegate slots went to Paul supporters, the Globe reports.

  1. Growing up in the Bay State, attending UMASS Amherst, watching extreme leftism- even as far as banning the fake musket the UMASS Minuteman Mascot used to have- I can finally say it is about freaking time!

  2. Wait a minute...are you saying that Ron Paul has the majority of delegates coming out of MA?

Incredible! Why am I not seeing this on the FOX?

    1. They are still bound to vote for Romney in the first round.

    2. And yet they all can dress with Ron Paul T-shirts and carry Ron Paul paraphernalia, etc and cheer for Ron Paul's positions. The chaotic mood of Romney being propped up while the majority of the floor is seeing as supporting Ron Paul will spell concern and worry that the Romney campaign will implode after the Convention.

    3. Not that the central banker-controlled "mainstream media" will cover it. At the Republican National Convention, they'll just pretend things are going swimmingly for Romney.

  6. Actually the delegates can choose to abstain on the first vote and possibly deny Romney the 1144 he needs to secure the nomination or they could put their middle fingers up to the state party and just vote for Paul on the first ballot. The federal party and its convention aren't governed by states' party rules and none of the delegates are bound by law.

  7. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together... God bless Dr. Paul and his team.
