The US military will be on call to respond and use force in case of unrest at this year’s Democratic and Republican Party National Conventions in Tampa, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.
In a disturbing illustration of the creeping militarization of the day, US Northern Command has admitted that the Army will aid domestic law enforcement if called upon by the Secretary of Defense.
“During the Democratic/Republican National Conventions, Department of Defense personnel will support the U.S. Secret Service,” a Northern Command spokesman said in an email.
“For operational security reasons we do not discuss the numbers of military personnel and resources that are involved,” U.S. Navy Lt. Cdr. William G. Lewis said. “Additionally, we do not share our operational plans.”

ReplyDeleteI'm former Navy, a Ron Paul supporter and am going to the RNC in Tampa as an Alternate Delegate. Learning that Northern Command is going to be there is upsetting to say the least. Charlie Foxtrot!

ReplyDeleteTragic sign of the times. The fact that the government even thinks this way - that the American people are the enemy - is indicative of how unresponsive and criminal the system has become. A growing number, perhaps now even a majority, of Americans are awaking to the fact that Reps & Dems are two sides of the same coin running two totally unacceptable, clueless candidates, that lack the ability and have zero interest in leading us out of this mess. They are owned by their corporate masters.
ReplyDeleteIt is now reasonable to assume that if there is violence, it will likely be a false flag operation. Recent events have shown how truly corrupt the government, financial institutions, and corporations have become. It is not a few "bad apples", but a pervasive culture of lies, theft, deceit, and cover ups. They can no longer be trusted on any issue.
Because they are desperate, and will engage in any illegal or unconstitutional activity to save their dying empire, they are now extraordinarily dangerous. Pay attention, stay non-violent, trust nothing they say. They want us to be afraid of each other.
