JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon would be the best person to lead the U.S. Treasury Department in a financial crisis, billionaire investor Warren Buffett said, reports Business Week.
“If we did run into problems in markets, I think he would actually be the best person you could have in the job,” Buffett said in response to a question about Dimon from Charlie Rose, according to the transcript of an interview that was scheduled to air yesterday on PBS. “World leaders would have confidence in him.”
Dimon is a smart guy, but you really don't want a smart guy at Treasury. The Secretary of the Treasury position should really be named, Chief Crony Bankster.
I love how Crony Capitalist Buffet has no problem letting it all hang out when he mentions markets having problems. That is code speak for "when I am losing my ass we need a guy in the White House who will make it stop."
