HOT: Tom Woods Web Site Under Massive Denial of Service Attacked

As some of you are aware, the web site of libertarian scholar TomWoods.com has been suspended.

I just reached out to Tom for an explanation. He emailed me the following:
Bob, just this second I posted this to FB: "Friends: My website TomWoods.com has been the subject of a malicious, DDoS attack, and for the time being the hosting company has suspended the account because of the spillover effects on its other sites. Their plan is to move my site onto their newer server, which is better equipped to deal with attacks like this. I will keep you posted."
UPDATE:

Tom's site now, instead of suspended, reads:
TomWoods.com is undergoing some maintenance and is having technical difficulties. Our site will be back online soon, please check back.

    1. Actually, I heard it first last night. I was commenting on his post about which logo to choose for his show when all of the sudden the site went down. At first I thought something was wrong on my end. There was no message or anything, the page just wouldn't load. Then this afternoon I noticed the suspension notice, which was then changed to the current message about maintenance and technical difficulties.

It's a shame that some people resort to vandalism merely because they don't agree with a person. It's sad, really.

  4. All Ron Paul needs to do now is to tell Jesse to stop and take him to the woodshed. Now it's time for RP's granddaughter to show some spine.

  5. The timing of this seems too coincidental to the attack on Revolution PAC.

I wonder if Mr. Woods went ahead and asked for that IP address on Mr. Anonymous/Stenovsky from policymic.com....

  6. Wait, the company is working to help him? Does that mean companies have an interest in retaining customers? Whoa.

    1. They must be mistaken. They are probably billing him hundreds of dollars! Greedy capitalists!
