Was Ann Romney Even More Power Hungry Than Mitt?

WaPo reports:
By all accounts, the past month has been most difficult on Romney’s wife, Ann, who friends said believed up until the end that ascending to the White House was their destiny. They said she has been crying in private and trying to get back to riding her horses.

  1. I'm sure she's a nice lady, but that doesn't make her smart.

  2. Since the very beginning of the campaigning I had the feeling Ann Romney is the incarnation of Lady Macbeth.

That's the thing about power hungry men. They often have power hungry women encouraging them. And vice versa, but I am not sure of relative frequencies.

    1. I remember on election night noticing how pissed she looked. They thought the Republican drone vote would propel them to victory against a president presiding over the worst economy in 80 years. Their arrogance is their downfall.

As bad as Obama is, I'm glad Romney lost. The two are virtually identical except for Romney's bigger love of empire.

And the idea that Romney would have done anything other than a token resistance to Obamacare is a joke.

  3. We're sitting here after experiencing a couple of decades of 'trickle up' economics, and the Romney's think everyone is having a party on their nickel.

I look around at all the people struggling, I don't see any partying going on.

Things like this are going around the internet:

Grandma Got Run Over By John Boehner

But many think the poor and elderly are 'getting away with something'.

This country has a whole lot of Marie Antoinettes running around.

I think the result will end up the same.

    I'm too old for this.

Don't forget that becoming president of the United States was a dream of Joseph Smith, which he once attempted. And Mormons since Smith have had the dream to become president since. For a Mormon to become president would fulfill a "destiny" for the Mormon people.
