I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS REAL!
Found it at the NYS Higher Education Services Corporation website. Gives new light on student aid. (http://www.hesc.ny.gov/content.nsf)
As a college education is becoming less and less valuable, the government is pumping more and more money into it. Of course, the money doesn't end up with the misdirected kids, but with the employees of the education structure, i.e., with those Hayek would call second hand dealers in ideas. They are being bought off by the government to keep shut about the evils of government and are being made part of the crony interventionist state.
You know what I'm say'in

Delete"Idiocracy" was a documentary.
ReplyDeleteThe fictional part was that it took place in the future.
I am disgusted!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually swear on message boards but I'll make an exception for this piece of propaganda. This is fucking sick! As an employer for more than 20 years now in the tech field, you can't believe how dumbed down some college programs are today. We stopped hiring college grads 8 years ago. It just costs to much for a small company like ours to educate them.
ReplyDeleteso whom _do_ you hire?
DeleteGet 'em hooked while they're young.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has a right to an education!
ReplyDeleteHaving more college educated members of society makes it easier to hire qualified individuals.
You need to go to college to find yourself.
What am I missing?
Maybe
Delete"Of COURSE I'll respect you in the morning!"
Just in case your question is sincere:
ReplyDeletePeople don't have a right to steal from anybody to fulfill their supposed rights or society's grand plans.
