Rand Paul: Preemptive War with Iran Should be on the Table; Let's Get Illegals in the System So We Can Tax Them

Here we go again. Rand Paul says a preemptive strike on Iran should be on the table. Amazing. Just how does Rand see Iran in any way as a threat to the United States, or for that matter the 51st state? If Iran launched a nuclear weapon in the future (The country doesn't now have any nuclear weapons), Iran would be instantaneously pulverized by Israel, which has a arsenal of between 100 and 200 nuclear weapons.

Also note Rand's reasoning for allowing illegals to become part of the above-ground economy, so that they can be taxed!! This, in no way, is a man thinking about shrinking government. Instead of advocating a program that would tax even more people, a person concerned about ever growing government expansion would only be calling for reductions in the taxes for those already paying taxes--not advocating that more be brought into the tax system

  1. here is a link to the best article on the dystopia of legal and illegal immigration.

    http://toqonline.com/archives/v11n1/TOQv11n1Lote.pdf

It builds on what Rothbard and Hoppe wrote many years ago.

The author is a well known libertarian who writes under a pen name.

Statists are using immigration as a vote and welfare weapon to take away guns, private property, all our freedoms, our families and children, and make America a soviet style gulag.

100 million East European Christians (slavs, germans, balts) were murdered under communism.

hostile elite want same in America.

    1. "Libertarians are, much like their neo-conservative brethren, another alien ideological import designed to turn the conservative movement away from its healthy traditionalist roots into yet another vehicle for Jewish group interests."

"Simon Lote is the pen name of an ex-libertarian."

by picking one or two snippets you want to stigmatize a necessary dialect.

    3. The closing sentence is far more than a quote-mined snippet. And "ex-libertarian" is not libertarian. All you're doing is shilling conservatism and white nationalism.

Here's more from your spammed link:
"The libertarians’ utopian creed essentially blinds them to the fact that they are in effect ideological puppets in the service of a predominantly Jewish ruling class. The three most influential libertarians of the twentieth century, Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard were all Jewish and created a movement which is similar to other Jewish-led movements in that it legitimizes the economic and cultural domination of Jews over the White majority while subsequently weakening White identity and cohesiveness by glorifying the atomistic individual. By perceiving only individuals and states, they deflect focus from the ethnic motives of the ruling class towards an abstract criticism of the state itself."

So we have to study the ethnic motives of Sicilians rather than have any abstract criticism of Mafia rackets?

  3. Congratulation Rand, you just joined that infamous "Mad Hatter" tag team of John McCain and Lindsey Graham in their psychotic desire to set the Mid-East ablaze, send gasoline to $10,00 a gallon, and "Shock and Awe" the nations economy into a Titanic style death dive to the abyss.

You have shown a willingness to say anything that will put you in the good graces of the Christian Zionists, and the dual citizens of the 51st state. Advocating the murder of Iranian men, women and children in the name of your unholy quest for the 2016 Republican nomination for president, without a thought about the moral or financial implications of such and act lays bare your barbarous nature.

I know your media apologists, Alex Jones, and Lew Rockwell will say that you are new at this game and misspoke, but I think you have decisively revealed your Neocon bloodlust!

    2. You guys have got to get the "Zionist" thing right; It's not Zionism that's the source of economic crashes and Empire.

Any group with the ability to control the money supply will have the same effect, regardless of motive.

Stop blaming "Zionism". It's not even consistent with what the Bible has to say about End Times; No Christian believes that we have any effect on the timing of Christ's return except by witnessing to others. That's it.

Christians don't "need to bring about the battle at Armageddon". Please stop saying this.

    3. Gotta agree with NY Cynic. I don't remember Lew Rockwell ever making excuses for Rand.

    4. Dear NY Cynic

Alex Jones has stated on his show that he and Lew Rockwell are very likely to support Rand Paul for the 2016 Republican nomination. Alex on an almost daily basis is praising Rand Paul for his stand on raw milk, private contractors groping us instead of Federal employees, or some fringe item.
Alex Jones will not touch Rand Paul's love of all things related to the 51st state, the NDAA, wooing of Christian Zionists, or his conversion to being warmonger. Alex is relentless in pushing Rand on the Liberty Movement. I know this for a fact because while I am working in Photoshop I listen to Infowars.com.
Alex Jones almost turned on Ron Paul after the convention, stating that he knew a lot about Ron that was damning, then he went quiet. Fast forward 45-60 days and he had started talking up both Ron and Rand, and stating without reservation that they were good guys. Then he started to relentlessly push Rand on his show, that is when I choose to listen to something more edifying like local sports talk.

      Proof was asked, about BOTH.
Not anecdotes, and not merely about Alex Jones.

    6. Switchblade,

Are you sure that is current? I have not listened to Alex's show for a couple months. From what I remember, he praised Rand generally until Rand endorsed Romney. He then turned on Rand, though moderated himself by mid-summer. This, however, was all before this extra turn towards neoconservatism.

I cannot think Alex Jones thinks Paul is anything but a relative ally within the GOP, not someone to support for President in 2016. Perhaps he just does not want to break his ties with all elected politicians?

    7. Alex is definitely not a libertarian and doesn't really understand economics or liberty at all. He has on lots of very far left 'progressives' and he promotes their world view as much as he does libertarians and paleoconservatives. His show is just a stew of fear and confusion. I listened to it for years.

  4. Preemptive war should *never* be on the table. And with this latest comment from Rand Paul, I'd rather deal with a genuinely anti-war leftist like Dennis Kucinich than a pro-war conservative in any fashion. Don't Rand Paul and other small-government conservatives know that "war is the health of the state"? Every war has led to bigger government and/or the loss of civil liberties. Look how "small-government" George W. Bush helped usher in many pieces of legislation that has restricted our liberties, such as the Patriot Act and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. He might not have gotten the chance if we weren't at war or if 9/11 didn't happen. Given that Rand Paul is tempted to resort to preemptive war, I wonder what else he's tempted to do if the opportunity arises.

Preemptive war has the potential to complete negate all of the libertarian achievements that Rand Paul has made. History has proven that this war and the resulting loss of civil liberties are far more dangerous to liberty than the worst that an anti-war leftist like Dennis Kucinich could get away with in this political climate. Rand Paul, of all people, should know this, being Ron Paul's son.

    1. " Don't Rand Paul and other small-government conservatives know that "war is the health of the state"? "

Why do libertarians continue to think conservatives are for small government? One would think there's enough evidence by now that they're not.

      Delete
    2. Like NY Cynic alluded to, Rand Paul is not a "small government conservative".

He's already voted for sanctions against Iran, thinks Israel is the 51st state ("an attack on Israel is an attack on us") and now thinks pre-emptive war may be a good thing.
On the TSA, he doesn't think it is the ACT that matters, but who commits it ("privatize TSA"). He supported the NDAA on the ridiculous provision that it doesn't violate the constitution (as if the whole nature of the NDAA does not have the purpose to violate it).

When will people learn that Rand Paul is not their friend? What he is doing now is very simple: he will slide as far as he needs to, to be able to get neocon support while still trying to con small government types into supporting him somehow. He is an opportunist.

    3. I thought Rand voted against the NDAA.

You are right though about the TSA, this appears to be the standard Republican line. It is okay to grope people as long as private contractors do it, which, frankly makes less sense than the current system.
