Reid: 'Anarchists have taken over'

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Thursday said “anarchists” have taken over Congress, reports The Hill.

Reid  said Tea Party Republicans are preventing progress on an energy efficiency bill by offering amendments on ObamaCare and other unrelated issues.

“We’re diverted totally from what this bill is about. Why? Because the anarchists have taken over,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “They’ve taken over the House and now they’ve taken over the Senate.

“People who don’t believe in government — and that’s what the Tea Party is all about — are winning, and that’s a shame.”

Wait until Reid sees what it is like when the private property society advocates takeover and not just the anarchist-lite Tea Party-types. Then we start to get serious: no minimum wage laws, no taxes, no Department of Education or Enery, and an end to the Fed.....for starters.

  1. Nanex ~ 12-Sep-2013 ~ Gold Futures Halted

On September 12 at 2:54:05, approximately 2000 gold futures contracts traded in a second, sending the price down just over $10 and causing a circuit breaker to trip, which shut down trading for 20 seconds. That is the longest halt we have recorded in a widely traded futures contract. A closer look at the data reveals this was most likely from one large order to sell at the market.

  2. He keeps that up - the whining - he'll make the Tea Party (or what he really means, anarchos) a cool thing to join. Like all the kids are doing it.

  3. I love any time one of these criminals acknowledges that there's an alternative to believing in government.

  4. "anarchists" have taken over the house and senate?

Does he know what anarchy means? No real anarchist would go impose his will on others through the violent hand of the state.

Reid cant even complain with rational thought.

  5. Probably pretty much what the British Empire said about the founding fathers...

Reid is a dinosaur that hasn't realized it's extinct.
