BREAKING Reisenwitz Issues Apology for Making Racist Charges

Following outrageous claims of racism against some of the most important libertarian thinkers (SEE: Justin Raimondo Smokes Out Absurd Racism Charges Made By Cathy Reisenwitz), Cathy Reisentwitz has issued an apology on her Facebook page. Below is the full apology.

On Friday I composed a few ill-conceived tweets concerning some major libertarian thinkers. I just want to apologize for my poor judgment in doing so. Making inflammatory accusations without thoroughly backing them up with concrete examples is just a terrible idea. I regret doing it and apologize to all I've offended.

  1. Is this a joke of some kind? Is the formatting intentional? I didn't even try to read it; not worth the effort.

    1. The formatting is normal when I read it on my smartphone, but on my computer browser I'm probably experiencing what you are: it's one letter per line. Another commenter below reproduced her remarks more readably.

    2. There was no intention on my part to distort the formatting. I merely copied and pasted the Reisenwitz message from her Facebook page. When I check it from my computer, )I use Google chrome as my web browser), I see no unusual formatting. That said, I have gone to a simple text message of the paste up, since apparently some web pages are getting a distortion via my direct paste from Facebook.

  2. Yuck. Apologizing for being wrong is one thing. Apologizing for offending someone is just embarrassing. None of us defending pure libertarianism were 'offended.'

Your comments just confirmed exactly what all of us already thought of you and your apology is just childish groveling.

  3. Tucker should attack his colleagues on his own rather than use a young girl to do his dirty work.

  4. But she couldn't fake apologize on twitter apparently.

  5. To paraphrase President Obama: let me make one thing very clear. This is an apology for not giving concrete examples and an apology to people subjectively offended by my remarks. I am not saying that I was wrong.

  6. To continue in that vein, she would have had to break with Tucker, and that gig is evidently too lucrative to give up.

Meanwhile, Tucker, who from his recent writing appears to be a delicate flower who feels pain at every unkind word or thought entertained by anyone at any time, couldn't spare three seconds to stand up in defense of Ron Paul, who has done so much for him, or for Walter or the others. Let's hope this phase passes soon.

    1. Great point. How brutal of Cathy to attack everyone as a racist! Where is tucker to defend those she brutally attacked? Does tucker realize this womyn feminist moron will turn off countless potential customers to his site?

What libertarian doesn't love having a privileged white feminist only four or five years out of college calling people who have been libertarians for decades like Ron Paul, Hoppe, block, Rothbard, lew, and Rothbard RACIST for bashing of blacks in regular articles while refusing to actually name or link to those articles? That definitely makes me want to get out the credit card and sign right up for Tucker's site. Maybe I can learn next about the anti semitism of Mises and Rothbard!

    2. Worked for me. My initial interest evaporated as soon I read what she was saying.

  9. Cathy who? So another fake (and dishonest) libertarian. The LP was loaded with them when I gave up on them years ago, long before they endorsed war and nominating chief drug prosecutor. The sad fact is that most of the libertarian writing that goes on is nothing but a big circle jerk. The people are too stupid, drugged, dependent, and just don't give a shit what the founders said, thought or otherwise and cannot even name them, Lew who? Please... the masses are not ready for it - they don't deserve it - they don't care. Don't sweat this shit. The real shit will be when your neighbor does not get his welfare/SS check and free drugs - Look out - Cathy and Lew and company will be least of you concerns.

  10. Why does this person get so much attention?

    1. Because she has tits and is fairly decent looking. She's hoping that her tits and looks make up for a lack of brains on both her part on those that find her appealing.

    2. Doesn't that pretty much nullify her whole feminist thing? She doesn't seem very principled in any ideology she claims to hold. I have a hard time taking anyone's feminism seriously when they wish they would've auctioned off their virginity for 800k. There isn't a single vagina on this planet that's worth 800k. I'd imagine diminishing returns kick in pretty quickly there. And I'm talking about random floozies here. Significant others' are, of course, priceless.

    3. I disagree on her looking decent. Maybe from Roderick "the drifter" long's perspective she is pretty, but not for those who don't look like a homeless drifter. I was shocked to see she graduated college in 2008 - I seriously thought she was in her mid to late 30s.

"There isn't a single vagina on this planet that's worth 800k."

Well, value is subjective. If you were a Saudi sheik with billions in the bank, $800k might be nothing for an afternoon of fun.

"Significant others' are, of course, priceless."

Ha! Now I know you're married.

"I seriously thought she was in her mid to late 30s."

Well, all I've seen are tiny avatar style pics of her via her twats(tweets?), so I could be off base.

    5. There is video of her on YouTube debating Julie on stossel's show. She looks a good decade older than her actual age. Not my idea of pretty, but Drifter Long apparently disagrees.

Btw, Roderick will next claim I am a racist bc more blacks are drifters than whites.

  11. The apology can be parsed in the ways others have said. However, it is not bad. It does stop short of saying, "I made false claims against numerous people," as she presumably does not know for sure at this point her claims were false. On the other hand, she could have said., "I intentionally libeled some folks," if that is more accurate. Or she could have offered something like, "I said a bunch of ill-considered and stupid stuff, I knew nothing about, concerning numerous folks I don't really know."

  12. She is little better than a potted plant in terms of depth, life experience. I know, as went to the trouble to go catch her act at a Bitcoin panel she participated on. Hardly able to string two words together. Few females in this space, so may be the reason she has glommed onto it (as has Tucker). She shot first from the mouth in trashing the people she did, and is fortunately being taken to task for it. Unfortunately, too many like her (both M&F) are not, may simply be an overwhelming progressive-collectivist-PC numbers thing.

  13. Roderick Long is doubling down on twitter and saying Cathy was right even after she apologized! He linked to Hoppe's book as proof of racism, and said that her statements about all the other libertarians are public record.

He is managing to act even dumber than Cathy did. Is he this desperate for her attention, or has he become a leftist as well? What on earth has happened to him? He used to be associated with Mises, but now he says he agrees that Rothbard and Hoppe and lew and block and Ron Paul are all racist. Wouldn't that make him a racist for his Mises association?

  16. If she had an ounce of guts she would have put up those concrete examples and defended her position. Of course, she would have had to double down and undermine her standing completely. So like a coward she issues a fake apology.
Either way, the fact that she still made those comments shows how utterly DUMB this chick is, regardless of any motives she may have. Did she really expect massive support?
