That is a creepy statement because on the surface it sounds so palatable. As the States intellectuals repeat it, the unenlightened will continue to buy into it. And so they (the unenlightened) will not grasp the true reasons for extreme economic inequality nor the true reasons behind the push for "democracy".
There's a world of difference behind reasons that sound good and good, sound reasons.
This seems to be a theme lately with the state approved "heavy thinkers".
Stephen Hawking came out as an outright commie via a HuffPo article pushing redistribution less than a week ago:
"If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed. Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution. So far, the trend seems to be toward the second option, with technology driving ever-increasing inequality."
Good to know that I'm being specifically targeted in their grand plans. The day they come for my machines I walk out and tell the government chimps "good luck"- unless they are going to chain me to them and whip me to run them, because God knows they probably won't even know where the power button is let alone how they work or how to set them up.
I guess they think I'll just sit here and get the devil taxed out of me and take it, which is a reasonable thought on their part to some extent given that's what most of us have done...but there is a breaking point for everyone and they don't know where that is.
