Bankster Bailout Bigwig to Head Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank

Neel "The Owl" Kashkari, who as a top U.S. Treasury official helped manage part of the bailout of the banksters during the financial crisis, will run the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank starting next year, reports Reuters.

As interim Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Financial Stability from October 2008 to May 2009, he oversaw the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) that bought junk securities from the top bankster firms and way over market values.

Kashkari, who also ran a failed bid for California governor in 2014, will take over from the current chief, Narayana Kocherlakota, who leaves his post on Dec. 31.

Kashkari, 42, was previously an executive at Goldman Sachs and at bond fund PIMCO.

  1. Boy he has gotten himself into a nice track. Unless getting sent to minnesota in January is some kind of punishment.

  2. This crony capitalist creep is symptomatic of the complete bankruptcy of the Commiefornia Repulsivecan Party. Pathetic, really pathetic. I can imagine the backroom deal when Kashkari ran for governor. I'm sure it went something like this - OK Neal, we can't find anyone outside of a mental institution willing to take on Moonbeam. So, if you'll take one for the team we will give you a nice consolation prize after you lose. How does a nice, cushy job with the FED sound? So the answer is yes? Great, great Neal. We knew you were a team player.
