Youth Unemployment Rates in European Countries with Minimum Wages and in Countries without Minimum Wages

  1. Sweden don't have any minimum wages but instead we have powerful socialistic unions and their "Kollektivavtal"/collective agreement (Germany have them as well) is as bad as minimum wages.
    The unions in Sweden have shut down many firms that pay less than the Kollektivavtal stipulates and left the workers, that the unions say they are protecting, with zero kronor instead of the salary they had before.

    Yesterday the head of LO (Sweden's biggest union) said that they are willing to do anything (real scary when a socialist says that) BUT lower the wages to help the masses of asylum seekers to get their first job.
    Now the median time for an asylum seeker to get a job is 7-8 years.
