Well, he could start by selling off Western ranchlands. It's a win-win!
I feel the need to post this before my comment:I do not support Donald Trump nor do I vote(for several reasons). That being said, I think there's a good chance that Trump may be the least warmongering of the group of candidates and my hope is that if he does get in office he'll pull the empire back some, AND I was hoping he'd address the debt via national bankruptcy-You have to wonder if he actually thinks the debt is payable or if he's just pandering to get elected.I only say this because if you listen carefully to him when he discusses abolishing Obamacare he was purposely vague on the details:"We'll replace it with something even better!" or things of this nature was what he said up until recently. Only recently did he disclose that he thought it should be more free market oriented by allowing competition across state lines. Yes, he suggested there will continue to be some type of socialized safety net, but my point is that I think he's purposely vague so that he remains electable. (and I could be wrong)It could be the case here as well. Saying he would do some kind of national bankruptcy would be disastrous as far as electablity goes, even if that's really the only way to handle the debt- and I think he knows this. But, I could be wrong. He might be such an ignoramus as to think a debt payoff is possible. It'll be interesting to see if he can negotiate the long knives of the GOP coming out to try to finish him off a variety of different ways.
He could convert all foreign military bases into trump style resorts that produce income.
$19 Trillion dollar coin? It could be huuuge.
Paying down the national debt would just make us all broke. They never printed the interest needed to pay it back.
