I remember you making an EPJ post about how uber often picks people up on the wrong side of a busy street and that this will eventually get someone killed. Well, I was just watching the news here in phoenix, and last night in Scottsdale (just east of Phoenix), a man and his son had called an uber. It stopped on the wrong side of the busy street. They crossed and the older of the two who they are reporting as 80 years old, got hit by a car and killed. The driver fled the scene.
