The Federal Reserve has scheduled and unexpected meeting of the Board of Governors "under expedited procedures" during which will the Board will review and determine advance and discount rates charged by the Fed banks.
Notes Zero Hedge: The last time the Fed held such a meeting was on November 21, less than a month before it launched its first rate hike in years.

Mr. Wenzel - any speculation on your part that this is to build agreement to delay further rate hikes to further the aims of the purported Shanghai Accords? Minimal/no dissent would seem to be part of the play
ReplyDeleteMost likely.
DeleteHey, maybe Tall Paul took Janet to the woodshed after the confab in New York. I emphasize "maybe".
ReplyDeleteWell according to Wenzel...since the economy is roaring, they are probably going to get together to up the ante and possibly think about making 4 to possibly 5 rake hikes this year. How many did you predict Wenzel? We need to keep track of your predictions or are your skills at prediction only for those that shell out for your newsletter?
ReplyDeleteFWIW, Robert's advice has done my portfolio a world of good.
