Obama, Yellen to Meet Today


President Barack Obama will meet Monday with Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen to discuss economic and regulatory issues.

The president and Fed chair will meet privately to “discuss the state of the American and global economy, Wall Street reform, and the long-term economic outlook,” the White House said in a statement released Sunday night.

The meeting will take place in the Oval Office take place at 3 p.m. Vice President Joe Biden is also scheduled to attend.

The last time Yellen had a private session with  Obama at the White House was November, 2014.
