Trump Says Harriet Tubman on $20 Is 'Pure Political Correctness'

Donald Trump said this morning that abolitionist Harriet Tubman is "fantastic" but she shouldn't replace former President Andrew Jackson on the front of the $20 bill.

He cited "pure political correctness" for the Treasury Department's decision to feature the black abolitionist — who was born into slavery and led the Underground Railroad.

"Well Andrew Jackson had a great history and I think it's very rough when you take somebody off the bill," Trump said. "Andrew Jackson had a history of tremendous success for the country.
"
He suggested that "maybe we do the $2 bill" or something else for Tubman.

  1. Idiot playing right into the stereo type. She was a Republican and pro guns. Tout that and move on. Do we really care what face is on a bill?

    1. What I was thinking. However, he seems to somehow make success out of controversy. I also seriously doubt he knows anything at all about Jackson. The race obsessed and race exploiters are going to enjoy trying to out do each other with feigned outrage over this.

    2. I agree with ghost63, personally I'm enjoying the bitching thats coming from the SJWs and the NRx, it's hilariously pathetic. The great irony of it all is that Jackson was against the central banking and would've been disgusted on having his face on a central bank note.

  2. Somehow it seems totally fitting in modern America that a slave is on the currency.

  3. I don't get it... so Trump is not in favor of booting Jackson from the $20, but instead wants to boot Jefferson from the $2 in favor of Tubman? That makes sense... /s.

  4. all this will do is give the race-baiters more ammunition to constantly remind the nation of how awful this country is, that had slavery for the least amount of time and paid the ultimate price in the death of hundreds of thousands to abolish the institution that had existed for centuries.
