BREAKING Trump Says Auditing the Fed is Not a Top Priority

Reuters is reporting that in an interview Donald Trump said, "he is 'not the enemy' of Fed Chair Janet Yellen, says auditing the Fed is not his top priority."

UPDATE 1

"I'm not a person that thinks Janet Yellen is doing a bad job. I happen to be a low-interest rate person unless inflation rears its ugly head, which can happen at some point," he said according to Reuters, adding that inflation "doesn't seem like it's happening any time soon."

UPDATE 2

Trump said he planned to release a detailed policy platform in two weeks. He said it would dismantle nearly all of Dodd-Frank, a package of financial reforms put in place after the 2007-2008 financial crisis.

"I would say it'll be close to a dismantling of Dodd-Frank. Dodd-Frank is a very negative force, which has developed a very bad name," Trump said.

UPDATE 3

Trump said he perceived a dangerous financial bubble within the tech startup industry. He said tech companies were attaining high valuations without ever making money.

  1. Well, I guess his meetings with the Republican Establishment went well. Congratulations Trump. You're now just another politician.
