Ron Paul to Head the Federal Reserve in a Trump Administration?

Some are promoting the idea but the odds are very, very small.

This is just more confusion about what type of President that Donald Trump is going to be. He is not a supporter of small government---or a Fed that doesn't manipulate interest rates.

He just wants his team to do the manipulating.

  1. Trump wants a trillion for infrastructure alone. He's going to place a money-printer who does his bidding, not a principled sound-money guy. Who do they think Trump is, anyways? Goldwater?

  2. It would make for some interesting confirmation hearings.

  3. It would be nice, but I suspect Ron Paul is more interested in abolishing the Fed than running it.

  4. Ron Paul, if asked, would probs suggest Jim Grant

  5. Paul has said he wouldn't abolish the Fed outright. "Let's audit the Fed, then End the Fed." How else could the Fed ever be truly audited except by an insider? And how else could it ever be ended, except as result from the info that comes out? The whole notion may be a long shot; still, here we are reading this post on EPJ. Says a lot about how much this game has changed.
