Larry Kudlow has emerged as a leading candidate to chair the White House Council of Economic Advisers, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Kudlow is no Joe Salerno, but Trump could do much worse. He is much better on trade than Trump and, as a supply-sider, he is pretty good on tax cuts.
That said, in the end, I would classify him as a government technician more than a free market advocate.
Though, he is a technician I would be willing to live with him at CEA compared to some of the others hanging around Trump.
