Trump Doubles Down On Comment that US Should Have Kept Iraq’s Oil: "Maybe We'll Have Another Chance"

What is President Trump planning?

Trump today doubled down on his comments that the U.S. should have taken oil from the Middle East during its wars there.

“We’ve spent $6 trillion … in the Middle East,” Trump said during a meeting with airline executives at the White House. “We’ve got nothing. We’ve got nothing. We never even kept a small, even a tiny oil well. Not one little oil well. I said, ‘Keep the oil.’”

"We have an obsolete plane system, we have obsolete airports, we have obsolete trains, we have bad roads,” he said. “We're gonna change all of that, folks. You're gonna be so happy with Trump. I think you already are.”

“If we kept the oil, you probably wouldn’t have ISIS, because that’s where they made their money in the first place, so we should have kept the oil,” Trump said. “But, okay, maybe we’ll have another chance.”

    1. Exactly. Weren't we (the USA), the ones who inaccurately yelled "the sky is falling!" over non-existent weapons of mass destruction? Weren't we the ones who invaded, overturned their government and bombed the hell out of them? What right do we have to their assets, unless we really are Imperical in sheeps clothing?
Now we're after Iran. Does this EVER end??
No wonder we're so hated in the ME. We can't keep our asses out of their world!
I actually voted for Trump! Because I know full well what Hillary is...and what she was itching to do. I have been cautiously optimistic that Trump would not be quite the puppet of the shadow government as past presidents, but optimism is fading. All this rhetoric from him is sounding like business as usual, only with a different potus....sigh
