Senate Republicans are considering a trigger that would automatically increase taxes if their tax reform legislation fails to generate as much revenue as they expect, reports the Associated Press.
It is not clear as to exactly how the trigger would be set.
But rest assured the expected revenue won't be generated. It is based on Laffer curve nonsense, which I addressed here: Laughing at the Laffer Curve: The Trump Tax Reform Con.\
Bottom line: This is one shifty tax "reform" with now new trigger tax hikes likely to be baked into the package.

I am a small business owner and employer in the Failed State of Connecticut. As such I am among the most highly taxed group in the country. Whatever happens, whoever's plan wins out in the long run, you can be certain of one thing: small businesses owners will pay even more taxes.
