Hardcore Central Planning in Action and Trump's Tic Tac Toe Central Planning

Central planning is always evil. It is the opposite of the private property society.

It is always about governments forcing people to do what they don't want to do. Sometimes it is about governments torturing or killing people.
President Trump is a central planner-lite but even this is no fun.

He has
established tariffs which fly in the face of free trade.

He has established sanctions which do the same.

He has nominated a known torturer, Bloody Gina, to head the CIA.

He has instituted new taxes on SALT.

He maintains US forces in Syria--among many other locations.

He has essentially put Julian Assange in solitary confinement, that is, low key torture.

He has nominated Marvin Goodfriend to the Federal Reserve, a man who wants to put tracking threads in currency and is in favor of negative interest rates during recessions.

Trump is no Lenin or Stalin but he is not playing five-dimensional chess to bring more freedom to America either. He is a central planner at the Tic Tac Toe level, probably because he is just not that bright to take it to an advanced level and for this, at least, we should be grateful. But the real problem with Trump is that he has co-opted many natural allies of liberty who think he is running a complex battle for freedom. I have no idea how to change the minds of these people. If they can't see the nomination of Bloody Gina and Marvin Goodfriend as horrific or the torturing of Assange as such. Or the evil in the launching of terrible tariffs and sanctions as terrible acts, then they are lost souls in the era of Trump.

I just hope Trump doesn't figure this entire central planning game out. We all know where that leads.
