Any sound libertarian will object to the Marshall Plan, Benn Steil does not. However, in all his work, Steil provides the facts that make it easy to understand what really went on and why. The below clip provides a great overview of Steil's book and Steil also makes some very interesting comments about US reconstruction efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan and a warning to those who call for reconstruction efforts in Ukraine and Syria.
