Most of a pilot's job (even General Aviation pilots) is to monitor the aircraft and to make sure they don't hit anything. It's not really the same as a system that is literally running the whole show (and the truck driver left the drivers' area of the truck).Pandemichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02315340208949970292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758330678390419129.post-35814963402739069022016-10-26T17:52:56.457-04:002016-10-26T17:52:56.457-04:00That truck needs to be trained to get in the left ...That truck needs to be trained to get in the left lane and pace the truck next to it in the right lane.Tennis Addicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06095075749331211993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758330678390419129.post-66087413438385142732016-10-26T15:14:04.370-04:002016-10-26T15:14:04.370-04:00Good point. Truck drivers are limited in the hours they can drive during a given period. Assuming this is not required for an automated driver (admittedly not a given when talking about government bureaucrats), this is a huge increase in productivity for trucking.Pandemichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02315340208949970292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758330678390419129.post-69041190643879153852016-10-26T11:41:54.415-04:002016-10-26T11:41:54.415-04:00i will believe it when they can do it without a hu...i will believe it when they can do it without a human chaperoneJessehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17491735038689935589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3758330678390419129.post-30511807662106545942016-10-26T10:41:06.498-04:002016-10-26T10:41:06.498-04:00IF the politicans and the unions don't squash ...IF the politicans and the unions don't squash this, the cost reduction will be in savings due to fewer accidents.
