It can't make up a lar...Govt can grow forever. It can't make up a larger and larger share of GDP each year but it is not doing that. Govt as a share of GDP has fallen the past few years. In 2009, federal spending was 24.4% of GDP. In 2013, it was 20.8% of GDP. Relative to the size of the economy, federal spending has fallen 15%.
