Hooker-loving ex-governor Eliot Spitzer and his long-suffering wife Silda Wall have finally called it quits, filing Tuesday to end their 26-year marriage, a source told The Post.
In Manhattan Supreme Court papers filed as “Anonymous vs. Anonymous,” the couple listed the breakup as “contested” signaling that there could be a courtroom battle brewing.
The filing comes just weeks after The Post’s bombshell report that showed Spitzer was shacking up with years-younger political mouthpiece Lis Smith, an aide in his failed 2013 run for city comptroller.
A day after The Post ran its exclusive photos of the canoodling couple, Spitzer, 54, and his savvy, lawyer wife, 56, issued a joint statement saying their marriage was kaput.
How nice. If you're one of the elite, your name doesn't have to appear on your dirty laundry when it appears in court. Of course, they have their excuses.
Screw him over Silda! SILDA! SILDA! SILDA! SILDA!
