Left-Right Coalition forms in Massachusetts

Massachusetts Patriots have formed a left-right Liberty Coalition Facebook page. This follows a call by Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, Cynthia McKinney, and Chuck Baldwin to put aside partisan differences for the sake of overriding principles that can be agreed upon. The Liberty Coaltion Facebook page states:

The Four Points of Unity are:

► 1. Freedom from Central & Foreign Bankers

► 2. Freedom from National Debt & Bailouts

► 3. Freedom from Wars & Empire

► 4. Defense Of Our Civil Liberties

  1. They should call themselves the Naysayers Coalition

  2. I'm always skeptical of these "coalitions."

  3. A more appropriate name is: The Impossible Dream of Ignorant Optomistic Tooters Society or IDIOTS for political action. I chose Tooters because it rhymes with Hooters and suggests the meaninglessness of this group.

All of the incentives for money and power are on the side of increasing statism while almost none exist on the side of decreasing statism. Incentives matter and until this changes these groups are simply showing their ignorance of the real world.

  4. In no sane world could Ralph Nader or Cynthia McKinney be considered defenders of civil liberties.

The "woah is me, nothing will ever change" mentality is pathetic.

You misunderstand me. I did not say nothing will change and believe me "woe is me" is the furthest thing from my mind. I said that incentives matter and I meant that unless this is part of the strategy failure is certain.

This means a strategy that offers big tangible rewards for individuals willing to reduce the state or very small cost to individuals willing to reduce the state. I see only pain and sacrifice from this group of IDIOTS.
