Big Climb in Import Prices, Again

U.S. import prices rose 1.1 percent in December, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today, after increasing 1.5 percent in November and 1.1 percent in October. Import prices advanced 4.8 percent in 2010.

Prices are really bubbling just under the surface, at some point this will translate into price inflation at the consumer level, since it means strong bidding for these goods. Buckle your seat belt.
