Is Goldman Sachs Stock the Most Widely Held Stock in Congress?

It sure looks that way. And JPMorgan Chase stock doesn't seem to be very far behind.

Without question among the most high profile members of the House, the most consistent stock to appear in portfolios is that of Goldman Sachs.

House Speaker John Boehner holds stock positions in JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs. Congressman  Paul Ryan, chairman of the House Budget Committee also has Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan stock in his portfolio. Eric Cantor owns stock in Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Darrell Issa owns stock in Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase.

The banksters own the regulators and in turn regulators own bankster stock. Cozy.

  1. Nancy Smelgrosi's net worth increased by 62% since 2009, to $43.4 million, as told by The Hill today.

But according to this 2008 article (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2026635/posts?page=26), Nancy Smelgrosi contributes to the more highbrow amongst the "needy," such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the San Francisco Symphony, but not really that much to those who are genuinely less fortunate.

But Mrs. Lugosi sure is generous with OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY!!!

  2. Hmm. Big surprise that Congress-critters are holding GS stock, I am sure. I would be willing to bet that most of them sold last winter...

  3. Well I am just floored! Imagine our government officials having GS and JPM stock. To think they would have this is just incomprehensible. Tell me something I don't know.
