Peter Schiff to Testify Before Congress on Thursday

Chris Rossini, executive producer of The Robert Wenzel Show, informs me that this Thursday Peter Schiff will be testifying in front of Congress.

He'll be on a panel with 7 others discussing whether the FHA should expand their role and include multi-families.

Schiff's testimony will be that the FHA should be disbanded.

My guest on The Robert Wenzel Show on the Sunday following the testimony will be Peter.

  1. They didn't listen last time. I suspect that will be the case again this time.

Our horrid political class is nothing if not consistent.

  2. Please interview the failed Republican candidates especially Santorum and Gingrich. Enough soft ball questions by so-called TV journalists. What do they know and how well can they articulate and defend their positions?

  5. Glad Wenzel and Schiff are getting along now. The last thing we need is libertarian in-fighting.

    1. I don't think they ever quarreled?

They simply hold differing views on certain areas, e.g. Schiff is a protectionist.

    2. Is he really? I know that he's very preoccupied with the US's imbalance of trade, which tends to be an obsession with protectionists, but I can't think of any cases where he's actually advocated protectionism.

  6. I wonder if Congressman Lacy Clay is on that committee and will be present again, to hear Schiff's testimony. Nearly all of Congress is worthless, but there are certain folks, like Clay, who by their statements alone, demonstrate that they are the lowest of the low. He is the kind of person only his mother could love. I imagine him having pores that secret some kind of shi**ty-smelling poison. If only doing evil manifested in becoming some rotten, foul-smelling, monstrous creature that no one could stand to be around. That is certainly what people like Lacy Clay are on the inside. Sorry to get off-topic. I really don't like politicians.
