Woods says Congessman Paul will come under enormous pressure "to do it for his son."

Woods says it would destroy Ron Paul's legacy.

  1. Principle vs. Family. That's how you get co-opted. Let's pray that he adheres to his principles.

  2. He's never been under enormous pressure before?

    BTW, I'm unsubcribing to RP, Rand Paul, etc.

    1. What do you mean about unsubscribing? I agree about Rand, but Ron hasn't caved before, and I doubt he will this time. This woods clip is actually a couple weeks old I believe, though of course it doesn't change anything.

    2. Don't you think it is a little quick to bail on the great Dr. Ron Paul? I'm with you if he sells us out and follows in Rand's ignorant footsteps, but I'm not blaming him for his son's bad decision. If Ron Paul sticks to his principles like he has always done I'll continue to ride with him and the rest of the Rothbardians and Misesians. Rand can roll in the shit with the pigs in Washington and the rest of us will spend our time productively by fighting for freedom. Good luck changing Mordor, Rand.

  3. I will not vote for Romney even if Ron Paul endorsed him.

    1. Same here. I wouldn't vote for Romney if Ayn Rand rose from the dead and endorsed him.

    2. I wouldn't vote for Romney even if Ron Paul became his VP and Romney said he was going to abolish the Fed, end the wars overseas, end the drug war, and end the Patriot Act.

  4. It would sadly verify my suspicions concerning Jesse Benton's compensation.

  6. RP thinking:

    Legacy vs. son,
    son vs. legacy,
    legacy vs. son,.....

    legacy = son,
    son = legacy,
    legacy = son......

    legacy vs. principle,
    principle vs. legacy,
    legacy vs. principle........

    legacy = principle?

  7. I always knew Rand Paul wasn't a Libertarian and I have total faith that Ron Paul will continue to stick to his principles despite the fact his son doesn't fully subscribe to them.

    I feel badly for Ron.

    If Rand doesn't get the VP nod he'll merely be a footnote in history 200 years from now....not so with Ron obviously. His 30+ year devotion to his principles will be marked over time. Just like Rothbard, Mises, and Obi Wan Kenobe have all become more powerful after death than in life...so too will Ron Paul.

    Rand has quite possibly just relegated himself to the dustbin of history, maybe even to footnote status....only a VP nod could change that course-and even then it would be tainted by his betrayal of his fathers principles.
