HOT: David Koch Calls for Tax Increases!!

Some libertarian.

Politico reports:

Billionaire industrialist David Koch, who is helping steer millions of dollars to elect Mitt Romney and congressional Republicans, on Thursday told POLITICO he disagrees with the GOP’s stance on gay marriage and believes the U.S. needs to consider raising taxes to balance the budget...
“I think it’s essential to be able to achieve spending reductions and maybe it’s going to require some tax increases,” he said. “We got to come close to balancing the budget, otherwise we’re in a terrible deep problem.”

  1. How about eliminating government, military, foreign aid/bribes, fed employee salaries, departments, and their supporting "bodies"? That sure as hell cuts costs and the benefits are immediate.

    1. Couldn't agree more. I think every reader on this site couldn't agree more. I'm the kind of person who won't be happy until the Articles of Confederation are restored. I will never waver from that, but I better appreciate the little things in life since I won't hold my breath.

    2. Hear, Hear! I stopped caring about constitutionality several years ago. I finally realized that the document is just a tool for subjection of people to a centralized, totalitarian, nanny state. The first syllable of the word constitution says it all.
