Does Satan Live at the Council on Foreign Relations Headquarters?

EPJ Reader A. J. Van Slyke emails:
Keep forgetting to email you about this about this since I know you enjoy a good conspiracy. I don't even have a TV but here in NYC the subway has been advertising for a new show called 666 Park Avenue about a hotel run by Satan or some other nefarious character. My girlfriend and I figured we'd go see what the real building looked like. So one night we walked down after dinner and found what would be 666 Park even though the actual address does not exist. To our disbelief we found ourselves standing at the front door of the Council of Foreign Relations. They use the cross street address as the official one. You can draw your own conclusions from there but I rule out coincidence. I'm quite sure I'm one of the few who have noticed this since there is only one post about it on the net and I put it there. No one seems to care so I thought I'd drop it on you.

    2. I understand, but they're infering that the address of the show and the Council of Foreign Relations is the same and thus somehow related. However it isn't and thus entire thrust of the piece is BS.

I'm sure that if you looked at every address in the world for every 666, those that exist and those that were skipped over, you'd find churches, mosques, government buildings, and much more. The only reason why you'd assume a silly correlation is because of superstition. Nothing more. But then that's exactly what created the whole 666 thing in the first place -- religion/superstition.

  5. There certainly is a 666 Park Avenue. It is a large triplex maisonette apartment in the building that is otherwise designated 660 Park Avenue. It was designed in 1926 by York & Sawyer.
