BREAKING: Video of Alex Jones Interviewed By Piers Morgan

Wow, I told you to bring popcorn. In a very passionate manner, Alex Jones let Piers Morgan have it. And it is important that Alex brought up the many millions killed by governments, in countries where guns were confiscated. That's the real reason guns must not be taken from citizens---for protection should a government ever become totalitarian, in the manner that the countries of  Stalin, Mao and Hitler.became totalitarian and mass murdering countries.

Not all will like Alex's passion, but he is on worldwide television standing up to an apologist for the state. We need more of it, with each using his own style and technique. Our job is to explain the important points Alex was trying to make.

UPDATE Here's part 2:

  1. Total FUCKING embarrassment. Petition to have Alex Jones deported.

    3. Really?! You fuck heads aren't obviously paying attention to what is going on with the monetary system and the idea on the table of a one world currency. This is not good for the American people. With firearms the American people still have a fighting chance against tyrants. Why is our country any different? Is our government not made of man and woman? Are we infallible? I don't think so. Everyone thinks America is great because you have seen nothing but t.v. shows and movies, made in America, for America. The American people are fucking stupid.14 lit, 17 science and 25 math, look it up. Humans don't change. Bad hearts got to bring in other bad hearts of government for years and were able to push out those who aren't with the agenda. George bush Sr. mentioned a new world order when I was a kid, didn't pay attention then, and this global currency will bring exactly that. Competition in currency is what keeps currencies honest. If we go to a global currency, do you think the central bank that runs that will give two shit about the voters of America. Wake the fuck up! I can't fathom a change this big, but I do accept it because its true. You may want to ask yourself, what the hell has the government done so great to get your blind faith. The aversion of the fiscal cliff is a fucking facade. The u.s. economy is crumbling, that is a fact, the u.s. dollar will bottom out, that is a fact because the 80b$ burnanke says he's buying in security backed mortgages, is coming from foreclosures. Foreclosures caused by the the international bankers themselves with inflation and with these new taxes, kiss your property good bye. That's cool though, the global currency will save us all. Then when the new standard comes out and gas rises to 7$ a gallon or higher, because remember, the standard is controlled by who controls currency (international bankers) that will help the middle class. Fuck piers Morgan , I don't need a gun to kick his ass. Other countries need to back off of American issues. Do whatever you people want, but I suggest you fight the one world currency. If a central bank has power over all the nations' currency, they have power over the rules. If they have power over the rules, they have power over the people. If you're not with the constitution, you're with the international banking terrorists.3 cities have declared bankruptcy in 5 weeks. They ARE coming for weapons to crush the fight early, because once Americans do wake up to the dollar being worthless, they're going to be pissed! Say what you want about Alex or nwo and what not, but go look these things up and you will see we are in serious trouble and you fuck heads are none the wiser! Wake up you sleeping giant, and realize the power of this country has already shifted from the people to the government, do we want it to shift further away from us?? Not this one. I'm getting ready, and you should too. Who is going to bring these people up on charges?! THE BANKERS OWN THE LAW. Our gov is made of the same corruptable men as any other communist country, which by the way, are the countries that would LOVE to see a world currency and the collapse of the united states. I'm keeping my rifle and my 45. And my wife is keeping her pistol. I have 3 kids and 1 on the way, and ill be damned if I do nothing to stop this. Eventually we will move towards a one world gov, but it can't be forced. I'm not stupid. I'm trained to think how to fight. And I'll tell you, the saying 'he who has the gold makes the rules' is true and we use this to exploit all kinds of things from people or groups of people. And you might want to get on board to fight this. I only pray we don't have to fight, but if record gun sales have said anything, its that we aren't going quietly.

  2. Alex did the liberty movement no favors. He correctly came prepared to derail Piers Morgans' standard script, but Morgan masterfully gave him the rope to hang himself and sat back. Would have been better to have Judge Napolitano on, but Morgan's interest was to further polarize, not enlighten or educate.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Napolitano is no better. Look up his appearances on The Daily Show. He's highly affable, but ultimately comes off as a ranting "true believer" without the ability to coherently make a point. Stewart's a light-weight, and yet he easily dispatches Napolitano. Intellectual lightweights in this movement need the humility to stand aside and let those with solid logic and arguing skills take the lead. Ranting like a lunatic wins over no one.

    2. I would love to hear Piers debated on the Robert Wenzel show!

      Delete
    3. I agree with Anon @1:03 AM. Wenzel should try to get Piers Morgan on his show. I don't mind Alex Jones being emotional in his arguments, but honestly, he should have given Morgan some time to make his points and responded to them properly. Talking over your opponent won't do your side any favors because you come off as ranting and plain rude.

      Delete
    4. @ Brian Drake

I have to agree with you. I saw Judge Napolitano's performance on the Daily Show and was embarrassed for him. He even tried to divert attention away from the questioning by Stewart by pretending to see someone he knew in the audience.

      Delete
  3. Jones should have talked more about the War on Drugs being the cause of the violence that Morgan continued to hammer it. The problem with Alex Jones is that he is too conspiratorial and doesn't just use basic economics to tear his opponents apart.

I think a Lewrockwell.com type of author would be much better on this show. Thomas DiLorenzo, Walter Block, Robert Higgs, Judge Napolitano, or even Lew himself would all use sound economics and cool and calculating reason to make Piers look very, very stupid.

    ...or even you Robert!

  4. You think they knew what they were getting when they invited Alex?

I love him but I wish he could maintain his cool. Passion is great but shouting isn't typically an effective debate technique.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm in agreement with the crowd. Jones was over the top. Jesse Ventura's done the best interview so far on Morgan's show regarding gun laws.

    ReplyDelete
  6. As said, alot of people knew what was coming when Alex was invited, how much we hope somtimes he doesnt go down such a deep depraved dark hole, and for most people can not follow him. The people are divided, and if you dont have a open mind or is a sheeple like most, he his hard to follow because you cant imagine government doing bad things.

    ReplyDelete
  7. @John, His shouting is more effective that calling a calm and reasoned opponent "stupid man" like Piers Morgan did in the debate with Larry Pratt.

Piers Morgan is a douchebag and deserves to be abused on air. Alex at least managed to get some words in without being distracted to follow the script.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It shows passion but the reason Piers looked like an insufferable twit against Pratt is precisely b/c Pratt didn't lose his cool and beat him with a reasoned and rational argument.

Jones has all of the facts behind him but his delivery immediately gives Morgan the high ground. He can sit there and smug as Jones rants and looks loony.

    2. I wrote a whole paragraph and was told to hit the back button and try again. So instead of wasteing a whole lot of time I will just say deport P.M. back to his violent country and Thanks Alex for getting the points across. You're the best.

      Delete
    3. John, Morgan looked like a twit with Pratt to us but I fear that to the majority of the sheeple he looked good because they go with whoever is the more dominant. And therefore for the lowest common denominator crowd Jones' super confrontational style works better.

  8. Alex spoke well-clearly a tirade-but he made his point. Piers is bought and sold, like most new age enlightened idiots. I say, let the pacifist liberal utopians keep sipping their Kool-Aid. It won’t matter anyway. They will succumb to a tyrannical government just like the millions aforementioned by Alex Jones. Jones was desperate to get out the facts, and likely embarrassed those who've woke up, but I appreciate his efforts. I've been awake for years-thanks to Alex! Research your history. The elitist will join in unity destroying those who refuse to obey. Even Mr. Morgan will fade into oblivion once he's meet his adversary. Oh yeah, he’d best not return to the Motherland. They’re waiting to take him away, so he’s a hypocrite anyway by telling us to act right and submit, I don't think so. Time to be deported Piers. We don't need him & I like my freedom to protect myself. Those who don't strive to live can suicide out. Many are anyway. Survival of the fittest and we're in the last seconds of the game.

Piers Morgan should move to Mexico where the gun control is absolute. This is America; if he has a problem with parts of our constitution, he should leave.

I did laugh when he called him a puppet of the NWO. HA!

    3. Mincemeat? Are you kidding me? I watched the most recent interview with Napolitano. I didn't see anything of the sort. I saw two guys expressing their viewpoints in a good debate. Maybe it was a different interview? Morgan is a pompous ass. Not sure how you put him a few notches more respectable. Just because he's a so called journalist and Stewart is a comedian?

Freedom Watch was HIS turf, where he asks the questions, and he even let lots of people get away with things there.

On someone else's turf - Jon Stewart's - he *embarrassed* himself.

I like the Judge, but he is NOT strong in defending liberty logically versus someone not following his script. It's just "the constitution says" this and "the constitution says" that.

  18. Totally, 100% loved it.

I think someone above said something about "agreeing with the crowd"... always a dangerous position to take, my friend.

Bob's completely right. If people like Jones weren't out there hurling rocks at the regime then the consistent propagandist's babble would go on un-tested. Incredulous, extreme advocacy of statism requires incredulous, extreme advocacy of liberty, so long as the non-aggression principle is obeyed. Jones unleashed a bombardment, yes, but a non-violent one. He advocated ownership, whereas Piers advocates government force and theft through legislation. This beck and call for civility and politeness is odd to me. How can individuals who understand the destructive nature of the state shun those who are indignant to its illicit behavior?

Jones's efforts should be applauded by all, libertarians especially, and no doubt by Piers himself, who I'm sure saw ratings sky-rocket for the evening.

Just my own opinion, but Jones serves the same purpose that LaRouche did: taking liberty-based ideas and marginalize them so that the mainstream perceives the ideas as within the realm of kooks.

  20. I sent the following message to a Facebook friend, a little bit ago: wow. did you see alex jones on the piers morgan show? alex really made himself look awful. i learn a lot from alex...but he is his own worst enemy, and he really needs to learn how to get his points across without looking/sounding crazy. that interview will not be doing second amendment supporters any favor...

While there are many points that can be made about guns not being the problem, the point about fear of a tyrannical government needs to be expanded.

It isn't just that We The People may need to fear what an Obama may do--even though he has demonstrated his dictatorial bent time and again, via unconstitutional executive orders--it may well be a threat which comes twenty, fifty...or a hundred years down the line.

Once the guns are gone, there is no effective way to get them back, in an emergency, such as when a tyrannical power grab does take place.

    Back to Alex...

He's a good source to gain tips on stories worth seeing/hearing...but he is not the proper spokesman for the cause.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I completely disagree with you on this one Bob. I like Jones because he will go where no one else dares to, but he is an extremely innefective communicator. He is going to be made the poster child for gun "nuts," and he certainly didn't do our movement any favor. He operates from a fear and anger plane, and I could barely stomach the whole thing. He made Morgan appear downright stately. This was no accident...

    2. What "obscure facts and stats" are you talking about? The UK has 300% more violent crime than the U.S. does. Citizens with arms helps defend against tyranny.

Alex was yelling because that's how he is and because Piers deserves to be yelled at. Look at how Piers kept trying to go back to "obscure facts and stats" such as "what kind of gun was used in this last shooting?"

He doesn't care about facts like such guns are rarely used in crime, or that Columbine happened during the last "assault weapons ban," or that the Virginia Tech shooter who killed more people than the Sandy school guy only used two little handguns to do it.

  25. Alex Jones was very well-prepared with his facts and passion, but walked right into Morgan's trap. He seemed completely unprepared for the possibility that Morgan would switch tactics after being embarrassed by Larry Pratt. Who knows, being nice just might have drawn out Morgan's nasty side and made Morgan seem like the jerk instead of Jones. Oh well. It's just Alex Jones being Alex Jones I guess. Way too predictable.

  26. Woah, for 20 seconds Alex was getting interesting-then lost it totally.
Screaming stats and being aggressive is what creates violence.
He should loose weight and lower his blood pressure.I thought that behavior went out with the likes of Rush Loonball. The dude with the loudest voice usually has the weakest argument.Clearly he was trying too hard to be outrageous for his own gain.

    1. Maybe he should buy one of those belt vibrating machines to "loose" his weight? Have you ever seen one of those things? I think they were popular in the 50s and 60s. They strike me as funny for some reason. I recently read an article about how they're making a resurgence for use with obese people (probably a Medicare scam now that I think about it). Anyway you're "loose weight" comment made me think of it.

As for Alex, I hope a shitload of people google Operation Gladio. I just did and I see that the 1992 Timewatch series of Gladio videos that I watched about 8 years ago is no longer available online due to BBC copyright shenanigans. Those videos were amazing!

  27. Yes Robert, your take on this is spot on.

Jones' style will not appeal to everyone, but the intellectual battle for liberty has room for many styles. The liberty movement has no central plan, and this should be turned to advantage by trying to advance the message in as many ways as possible. Jones' passion may grab people's attention, and if some of them google the terms he was throwing out, it could start them on a journey of awakening.

In one of your recent “Morning Coffee with Murray Rothbard” clips, Rothbard mentioned that in addition to purely cerebral arguments, it's a good thing if people get pissed off that the State is screwing us over, and I think Jones plays into this strategy.

  29. Initially, my thoughts were that he came off looking like a raving mad man and that this would be bad for the liberty movement and those wanting to preserve gun rights.

After thinking about it a bit more I realized that the people that would actually be afraid after his outburst are mostly the ones without guns....which now I'm thinking is a good thing.

What if Alex is right and any such attempts initiates that reaction from the mob?

    1. I agree with the conclusions to which you arrived. A lot of commentators here are obsessed with the niceties of the debate. We are beyond being nice at this point. The left are using the caskets of children as props as there is no level too low to which they wont stoop.

They are interested in a debate, or a 'conversation' as they prefer to call it, only to the extent it tames us. It is not important to win the debate, as that is just a distraction. It weakens our resolve when we take them up on it. The factoid tactic from the video illustrates that clearly.

What we need to do is finally win the war we started in 1776 for all time. Alex Jones is showing the left our honest to God face. The left needs to ask themselves, do they really want to face us? Are they up to the task?

My guess is if we get in their faces as Jones did, and refuse to back down, they will cower as is their nature when not possessing the upper hand. Neither are we doing them any favors by giving them a false sense of security by taking their 'conversation' seriously.

    2. You know, I had not really considered this perspective. Now that you mention it, it makes a lot of sense. I get really infuriated with the failure of anti-gun individuals to use an appropriate amount of logic, but I'm always trying to be a polite ambassador for the 2nd. The left's ultimate agenda is disarmement. They've stated as such before, and any incremental win their way only furthers their resolve, regardless of what the Supreme Court says. Maybe this whole interview isn't a complete fiasco. We were able to get Illinois to back down. Now we'll have to see if we can get Congress and the Senate to back down as well.

  30. My response to AJ:

    Mr Jones,

So let me see if I've got this straight... You're invited to be a guest on the Piers Morgan Show (surely not by the man himself), on CNN - a cable news channel that couldn't be more of a left-leaning sponsor of BIG Paternalistic Government even if it tried. You come prepared with facts and ideals, all of which were correct yet you blurted them out at a fevered pitch, raising your voice and your fists portraying yourself as the very BAFOON they wanted you to look like on national primetime television.

    ARE YOU TRULY THAT MORONIC?!

It was plain as day that you were being baited by Morgan and his cohorts in an effort to discredit the Liberty movement and gun rights in particular. People who watch CNN are unlikely to be swayed against their anti-gun rhetoric even by the most intelligent, patient, logical and cordial of debaters. But that wasn't the point of CNN having you as a guest. The point was to tie your raving lunacy with one of the greatest debates of our day. And you took the bait - hook, line and sinker! Then they cut you loose of course, since you served no further purpose, Dershowitz taking over and talking about his fear of people like you having guns.

You did yourself and the rest of us a very special disservice tonight! Touchdown for the globalists!

Not only did you come across as mad, but you tiptoed about an issue over which you yourself have oft proclaimed your unabashed belief - 9/11 and those truly behind the conspiracy. When Piers asked if you believed that President Bush was responsible - whether in part or in whole is irrelevant - for the events of that day, your answer should have been an immediate and UNEQUIVOCALLY RESOUNDING -- YES --

But instead, you appeared to be trying to sound politically correct, searching for the diplomatic answer.

Congratulations! You will now be the poster boy (no, not the Pillsbury Dough Boy, as apt as that may be) for the anti-second-amendment movement. That is, until of course the next Adam Lanza or James Holmes strikes. You've done as much damage to gun rights as each of those boys and the irony is that you did it without even firing a single bullet! Bravo!

To be sure, history, statistics and our natural rights as human beings are on your side; you speak the truth albeit today not as candidly or cogently as is your custom. Your message is right on the money, but what you did tonight was to pull the pin out from a grenade and drop it right at your feet in the middle of your very own camp! You cut us ALL off at the knees!

As someone who makes a diligent effort to research for myself that which I hear from those I trust to deliver my news, I would be hard pressed to take you seriously if I hadn't any background on these issues. No, that's putting it lightly... If I had seen your interview tonight on TV without my background, your little temper tantrum would've reflexively pushed me squarely and securely into the opposite side of the issue as you, as I'm sure it did for many ill-informed CNN viewers tonight as well as further entrench others in their 'guns-kill-people' beliefs.

You are (or were, if tonight has any effect)someone of considerable influence and breadth of audience. How could you have so terribly betrayed the cause of Liberty?

    Regrettably yours,

    Joel Torres

      1. You don't trust everyone.
      2. You get your news from people you trust...who it turns out you don't actually trust -- diligently fact checking everything they tell you.

  33. I'm on the fence with this clip. On the one hand, it's true that Alex Jones fell for the trap of Morgan playing the civilized Brit pretending to have a rational debate (something Jones should have expected) and let Jones yell to discredit him. Then Morgan went for "the kill" by bringing up 9/11. Case closed, right?

On the other hand, there's all this libertarian hand-wringing about Jones making us look bad. Hey guys, news flash: no CNN viewer is going to be persuaded by a non-liberal, polite or not. At least Jones put up a fight, and took that scumbag down a notch. Maybe the true value of this clip will be in the future, when people with more than half a brain who view it on Youtube decide to do a little research on some of the many facts that Jones mentioned. This could be Jones' "Peter Schiff was right" video.

I don't like how Alex Jones talks about the New World Order, and he's doesn't fully understand economics, but he's great on other things. And sometimes thoughful people will respond when you beat them over the head... with inconvenient facts.

  34. If Purcy Morgan, Durfowitz and buddies are afraid of people like Jones having guns, they should encourage people to buy guns to protect themselves. Since Jones has about 50 guns, which would enable a large armed group, Durfowitz and friends should endorse large capacity magazines. (I'm in no way implying that Jones is violent. These plastic robots could have Jones safely in their home. The worst they would be subjected to is the same ridicule he leveled on air)

I don't think Jones's performance, whether rated spectacular or dismal, would have swayed any gun hater toward our side. I had a drink while I watched, and I enjoyed the show. I don't watch much tv, either.

Alex is Alex and Pierce is a turd. That interchangeable Kennedy guy might be the biggest turd who appeared. He's a Kennedy, after all.

  35. That was terrific. Alex Jones is witty, hilarious, and zany, but most importantly he was up there quoting real facts about crime statistics in the US and Britain. Frankly, Jones came to Morgan's show to tell him "mano a mano" how he really feels about the man, not really giving a rat's ass what the audience at home would think of him.

Sure his bombastic style probably will turn off a significant portion of the population including many EPJ readers, but realize that he is not some politician who represents me or you or the "liberty movement." He represents himself and the media empire he created from scratch decades ago. Btw it was listening to Jones as a teenager which eventually led me to Ron Paul, to Austrian economics, and eventually to this blog as well as economics in general.

  36. It has been posted here before that Alex Jones is an agent provocateur. The more I see of him, the harder it is to dispute that.

  38. I'm with Anonymous (12:44 AM) here. Alex just went there to get into Morgan's face. To tell him what he really thought about him. Alex considered doing the interview over satellite, but decided to meet the guy in person.

All these TV shows are just too short for debating. People can educate themselves over Internet. Alex didn't need to get his message out there. All he needed to do is draw some attention to himself and hope that people start reading his stuff on their own. And I think that's exactly what he did. Well done, Alex!

  39. What I want to know is this: why did Alex Jones go on this show? He had a rare opportunity to be a make a case for the right of self defense on a network that rarely makes space for that viewpoint. Why bother to go on this kind of program If not to persuade and inform? Being bombastic achived neither, and only served to further the fear mongering. While he might not have converted every CNN viewer to his beliefs, people being as prone to bias as they are, but he could of planted or watered the seeds of doubt. Sometimes shaping the debate is a prerequisite to winning it (as liberals know to well, hence Jones TV appearance). If Alex just wanted to preach to the chior or stroke his own ego he is no better an infotainer than Piers.

    1. So he looks bad for a 15 minute segment (I was dying while he did his British Accent) spewing out facts that should be known by every American. Two things were accomplished here; as this becomes a widely circulated clip and people stop and research each fact (operation gladio, 911, More Guns Less Crime, FBI Crime Stats, Democide....) they will see the rationale for power originating out of the barrel of a gun being best placed with the people. The other thing was (as many have already stated) the intensity of passion on the side of the liberty loving crowd. Let those using Lenin's Tech retreat as is their wont when they encounter resistance. Let them see just how hard that resistance really is.

Alex is reading the awful situation correctly.

  41. Jones did a great job. The liberty movement needs all kinds of people with different styles. I greatly admired Pratt's take down of Morgan but I also loved to see Jones get in Morgan's face and let his viewers know that we are not going to lay down like so many sheep and let them just take our guns from us.

There is no FORMULA for convincing the gun grabbers they are wrong. They won't change their minds. Jones didn't go there to debate, he went there to send a message and he did it well.

Who cares if the gun grabbers think he's a nut case! He is a nut case and I'm happy to have him on my side.

  42. While I agree w/ Alex on a lot of points that he made, and I appreciate the passion, I think that to the average viewer he's going to come off as a complete whacko / conspiracy theorist. You could tell at the end when Piers brought up the 9/11 stuff that he was trying to frame Alex as a whacko. I would like to see somebody like Tom Woods debate all of these pro gun control MSM dopes.

  43. The liberty movement will not die from ranting on television against the establishment. It will not even suffer. Gun controllers will not be convinced by any sort of debate. These aren't candidates, Alex isn't seeking votes, and who "wins" here is really of no consequence.

Alex Jones unloaded on that parasitic presstitute Piers Morgan. And I love what he did.

    1. I've also noticed that no "debate" on gun control is ever won on facts. Only pure hot unrestrained emotion seems to work.

    2. This is true of political debate in general. Political debates are won on emotion. For the most part, people make their decisions based on emotions, not based on reason. The sooner INTJ libertarians understand that, the better.

  44. How can Jones debate Morgan when he has not stated his position and why he has that position on the topic of gun control.

    ReplyDelete
  45. lol..way to go alex. you made him play your game. decent job of getting some positions out there.

  46. People critical of Alex Jones simply don't know him. This guy hasn't changed in over 15 years. What you see is what you get - totally genuine and incredibly passionate. I thought he was brilliant - come out on the attack. The post-script with Alan Dershwitz played out perfectly. You now have a non-US citizen and, arguably one of the best lawyers in our time, profiling Alex and discussing how the 1st amendment need be repealed. Unfortunately, people like Austin Peterson and others who are sounding off to distance themselves from him are showing their true colors. I could only wish that ALL of my neighbors and Americans were as true to the cause...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'm mixed on this one. On one hand, there is a strong sense that his "behavior" will leave a bad taste in some folks mouths regarding advocates of gun (human) rights. On the other, it was SO REFRESHING to see someone in the mainstream media behaving exactly as they should be when a moralizing, pseudo-intellectual limp-wrist like Morgan rather blithely and calmly prattles on about which rights we are entitled to and which we are not. In part, it is well past time someone got in the faces of people like this on a national platform. We need MORE people to be this passionate! I wish, however, that Jones would have stuck to the issue, beat the drug war and government violence and stayed AWAY from 9/11. Had he done that, I wouldn't have any mixed feelings at all.

But having someone FINALLY stick a finger in THEIR chests and talk down to THEM was extremely cathartic. That is how it should be. We should not allow them to talk down to us. We should not sit idly by while the Morgan's of the world rather casually and cooly drag us into tyranny. Kicking and screaming!

  48. Based on the comments i can come to some conclusions:

    1) People whine a lot about Alex Jones representing their views in a way they don't like. Beggars can't be choosers. First of all, you can only go on PM if you're *invited*, so it is nonsense to mention names who would have done "better". Especially Judge Napolitano, who embarrassed himself when he went out of his comfort zone on The Daily Show. You don't like it, DO IT YOURSELVES.

    2) People whine that Alex did the liberty movement no favors by coming across as "crazy".
As if gun controllers and statists in general really give a shit how a gun freedom supporter behaves. Don't you GET IT? They don't listen to logic, and they don't care about calm. You think Larry Pratt convinced anybody to turn pro-gun freedom? You think Alex Jones turned anyone against it? People who think style is more important than substance should get their priorities straight, and they should stop being naive about how "convincing" you are to opponents. If gun controllers listened to reason, they wouldn't be gun controllers.
Statists consider libertarians to be fruitcakes anyway.

    3) Maybe Jones did it the way he did to prevent from Morgan and Dershowitz ganging up on him 2-on-1, which was obviously the original script.

Having said that, i liked Ted Nugent's performance on PM a lot.

  49. I think Alex Jones fell into Piers' trap of portraying those who believe in upholding the 2nd Amendment as "right wing lunatics". The interviews of both Alex Jones and Ted Nugent came off this way REGARDLESS of the facts that they discussed. I highly doubt that bringing up 9/11 after coming off as a raving lunatic at the start of the interview gained AJ any credibility with the average CNN viewer. But hey, who knows. Hopefully a few people out there will research some of what AJ talked about.

  50. Loved it. Alex Jones was Alex Jones...loud and in-your-face. That's what I love him for. Let them think gun owners are lunatics.... there is a lot more going on in this country than people realize...

  52. I doubt, as others have said, that he changed anybody's mind and I wish he could have focused his delivery a bit more on the natural right to self defense and state murder of millions, but that said...

It was immensely entertaining to watch him blow up the usual media gun grabber script and just roll over Piers Morgan. Morgan and co. always play this stupid game of cherry picked yet still irrelevant statistics thinking they can just trap a pro-defense guest into this big "ZING!" moment and Alex just crapped all over it.

    Popcorn indeed!

  53. Hilarious! Too many libertarians are terrified about what statists think of them and don't like Alex's style because of it, but I love that stuff. Nothing better than watching an uber statist taken to the woodshed. I enjoy watching the less passionate defenses of liberty, as well, but this was fun to watch.

  54. In my view Alex did fine. Somebody has to say those things in public to people like this. Piers wanted to break Alex's rhythm and Alex reacted to protect it. Piers did not address any of Alex's points.

    1. You got it Lorie. Jones is controlled opposition. He uses a lot of limited hang outs. That said, he's a tool and he knows it.

The fact that excluding government, everyone else interacts voluntarily, Jones will not delve into the root of the problem: government violates the one principle all the rest of us (99% anyways) abide by: the non-aggression principle. That one glaring fact is what separates the people from the government. That one fact will drive a wedge between the people and the band of criminals called government.

  58. What a creep Piers is to ask "Who did nine el. .?" when he refuses to investigate the story himself. He knows any response to that question neutralizes the discussion.

I have finally concluded that when someone asks that question, the appropriate response is silence. Utter silence. Let the person asking the question wring their way out of the circumstance. Even once they begin talking again, keep silent for a while.

This is an old sales closing technique applied in reverse. That technique is: "whenever you ask a closing question, shut up." The first one to speak, loses.

  59. How’s this for a rant?

Alex was set up as it was. He specifically asked them if they were going to have victims of shootings on the same show which would set him up and make him look like the bad evil man who doesn't care about "the children". They told him that they wouldn't do that. He read right into it and chopped Pierce off at the knees and didn't follow/play along with their script. He laid out the facts plain and simple in the short time he knew he had. Hell yea he was angry. If you’re not angry about this then you’re not a red blooded American and need to move to another country where there aren’t any guns and leave us alone. If you don’t like guns then don’t buy one and leave me alone. It wasn't going to be a legit debate in the first place. It was only to make their case for gun control stronger. Alex was supposed to debate the control freak that was on in the last segment but they told him to leave and he was escorted out of the building. They knew that Alex would pummel him in the debate. Alex is armed with the truth that they don’t want you to hear. He already laid out waaay too much truth as it was. Pierce is a hypocrite. He walks around with armed body guards...but I guess he's special. Meanwhile he wants to take my guns and my ability to defend myself against criminals in my country in typical brit’ fashion. I suppose taking away my car is next because someone will run over a bunch of school kids after the guns are gone. Where does it stop? Alex represents millions of us who are stark raving mad at the control freaks in WA who want to control every aspect of our lives in the name of "terrorism". The powers that be are putting this country in a bad position because of their lust for power. It's not to "save the children". If that were the case then we would hear more about the shootings where people have actually saved lives because they were conceal/carrying. But nooooo, that doesn't fit into their agenda. You see, they control the media and the way you think every day. It called television prooograaammmming. Get it? It's not that difficult people. Alex Jones was just the shock to the system that this country needed to wake you up out of your dancing with the stars stupor. The constitution is non-negotiable. It was well thought out and written by academics that were better educated and light years ahead of their (and our) time. They knew this would happen. The anti-gunners on here scare me. You forget why you have the type of freedom you enjoy. Do me a favor, get a life and stop telling me what to do with my life. As long I don’t infringe upon your rights then don’t infringe upon mine. I hope you enjoy being assaulted by criminals after they take away your ability to protect yourself you spineless twits. OK trolls…your turn to debunk and flame …enjoy your little kingdom while you can cause they’ll be coming after you next…oh but you’re probably special too huh?
