Oh, God- I hope not! When I heard that Wead was trying to market some health BS to the liberty movement I about gagged. There's certainly evidence that Paul Inc. profited significantly from the two Presidential campaigns- without engaging in the ideological fights the grassroots wanted to engage in. I dont particularly begrudge the Congressman for signing on with one of the public speaking agencies (they all do it), but theres already a huge industry attached to the liberty movement with alternative health marketing biz. It would really make me reanalyze Paul Inc, in a way I have been hesitant to do. After all, we're all for making money - but we must be better than our intellectual opponents or we lose the moral high ground.
It is really the only way to fight back considering how the media, entertainment industry, political parties, talk radio, etc is controlled all by leftists or neo-cons. It is also consistent with Rothbard's strategy of following what the Trotskyites did and using it for the liberty side. We can't really win in the short term, and the main reason for that is all of the idiots indoctrinated by the govt school system and the media bc they were conditioned not to think for themselves.
Despite that, Paul still converted millions on major issues over to the liberty side. Imagine what he can do with a blank slate? The home schooling movement and withdrawing from govt schools and the tv/newspaper/neocon talk radio media is the only way liberty based people will ever be the majority.
I hope this follows through with being this significant. Will be a big letdown after this buildup they are inspiring in me.

DeleteNo matter what, Paul has a HUGE audience, and anything he does will make waves and he will get high profile spots in the MSM.
The MSM may be co-opted by TPTB, but Paul brings in ratings, which equal cash, and money trumps ideology!
