  1. 'it gives you the flu so that you're immune to the flu'
    love that logic

    1. Well, if the explanation of antibodies is correct, then it doesn't matter if it seems counter-intuitive, that's the way it works.

I don't know enough to assert the antibody explanation is correct. It's certainly the mainstream assertion, but I've read enough to at least be skeptically uncommitted.

Look up Dr. Sherri Tenpenny M.D. for some non-mainstream theories on vaccines. Whether she's right or not, I did see a presentation by her where she used nothing but CDC statistics to show that the polio vaccination campaign came AFTER polio was already mostly eradicated. Thus demonstrating the oft cited "we cured polio with vaccines" is false, unless polio vaccines can time travel. I'm familiar with the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, and cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. But the pre hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy?

  2. I'd like to see him get the F.U. shot on T.V. Be happy to administer it myself with a very dull needle and a middle finger.

  3. Piers Morgan: You stupid Americans believe everything you hear on the telly. I'll never get the flu shot again, bloody hell, you American bastards! Now, in other news, violent crime has escalated dramatically due to the private ownership of firearms. Bloody Americans! Listen to me and stop purchasing firearms. Guns cause violence the way flu shots causes the flu!

    1. If you look at the actual statistics, you would see that in areas where private, legal firearm ownership is highest, crime is lowest.
You must believe everything you hear on the "telly" if you think otherwise.
Go look for yourself. Areas with the most violent crime already have some of the strictest gun laws.

    2. Hey , it's Anon@ 6:50 P.M.

Relax, I'm on your side. I don't want any gun control.

I'm emphasizing that Piers is a douche. I thought it was pretty clear.

  4. It takes seven to ten days to build immunity after a flue shot. It takes one to four days for symptoms after being infected. Piers probably contracted the flue at least one day before the shot was effective.

    1. Typical government lie. The only people in my office that have gotten the flu are those that took the shot---and they all got it within a week of taking the shot.

    2. Ditto in the South as well. The majority of the people getting the flu around here got the flu shot.

    3. How coincidental jackass. Read the side effects on the package insert. Side effects of the flu shot = flu symptoms (if you're lucky to get those instead of something more serious like the onset of autoimmune disease or guillian barre syndrome). Also, hes lucky he didn't get the nasal spray. Then he would actually be contagious for up to a month. Actually shedding the virus.

  5. Outlaw assault needles! Limit their capacity to only 10 CC's maximum!! Rabble Rabble!

  6. Forget the flu. We need a vaccine against Piers Morgan.

    1. I'd line up for that shot.

On second thought, the line would probably be from San Francisco to Los Angeles, so i'll just take a sledgehammer to my TV instead.

    2. The best vaccine against this limey prick is to deport his ass back to fascist Britain.

  7. Perhaps next he can take a firearms safety course.

  8. I guess viruses DON'T have standards, after all...

  9. My father got a flu shot a few years ago for the first time in his life. His health hasn't been the same since. He has trouble breathing now, a soft wheezing sound can be heard whenever be breaths.

He really regrets it. I just wish he would have asked my opinion before he decided to get one. I could have told him it was a horrible idea.

That's not to say vaccines aren't a good thing. Even if a few babies die or go retarded from the big-disease vaccines, its still worth it. But for routine things like the flu? That's like opting for a stomach pump when you've gained 5 pounds over the winter...

  10. Vaccines are all a scam. Don't buy into the antibody theory. 80% of the immune system is on the digestive tract. The mucus membranes play a huge part, which vaccines have zero effect. All vaccines are a lie
