Pravda: Americans Never Give Up Your Guns

Understand this article and you will understand the real reason not to give up your guns.-RW

By Stanislav Mishin

These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere....but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

  1. Very powerful. How I wish more Americans would read, and be inquisitive!

I never swallowed everything they taught me in school. In my 20s, I realized it would be beneficial (even though a sacrifice) to reevaluate nearly everything I was ever told; as much as possible.

Today, I believe in no regulation of guns whatsoever. Let anyone buy them. Then punish crimes. I have no doubt that crime will decrease, there will be fewer murders, and the good guys can have carte blanche to protect themselves. Especially from government.

Side note: People joke about kiddie rapers in the Catholic Church. Nobody jokes about kiddie rapers in government. The media has done a good job for our rulers on this and guns.

At this stage of the game, there is no reforming institutions. We must completely circumvent them, in my opinion. Take the pizza hut guy, demoted for using a stick against 5 robbers. Institutions are failing. Pizza Hut doesn't even make food worth defending, but they treat that guy's life like it is worthless.

"Russia in Chains" - two rare books were written by a Russian professor who escaped from Soviet Gulag in 1933. these two books speak in great details about Russia before and after Social Democrats (ie. Bolsheviks) took power in Russia. The books were translated and published in UK in 1938 in a single limited edition. They were never published again.

    2. Why they were never published again? Even in the Western World? Maybe because there is no difference between Bolsheviks and Queen of England, or between Bolsheviks and the government of USA.Afterall they all are the same;once on the top, how many will willingly step down?...And once you're on the top is very important your slaves cannot rebel and put your own neck under the quillotine.1789 was a lesson all politicians learned and not many forgot...

    1. That's wat they want you to believe. It's true,in Switzerland almost all households have one or two military grade weapon, and all males are trained how to use them, but that's not the real reason why nobody dares to threat Switzerland.
The real reason is:Switzerland, as a form of government was found by the late Templiers in 13th and 14th century, when Papacy, suported by rising royal families in Western Europe, started to take it hard on them. They just took their money and knowledge up in the mountains and vanished. After 7 centuries, their money, power and global influence is almost palpable. At this point, who do you expect to take it on Switzerland, as long as it's founders managed to get in all the other leading famillies in Europe, called "The black nobility", managed to create "Illuminatti",and not any branch, but "Bavarian Illuminatti"-the most powerfull and dangerous branch.(At my last check on the map,Bavaria is bordering Switzerland on the North). And, despite the fact Switzerland is calling itself a republic, maybe you can explain to me why Hohenzolern family is allowed to retain sovereignity of ducate of Lichtenstein, which is INSIDE AND NOT CLOSE TO ANY BORDER OF SWITZERLAND!
Now, finally, I hope you know why Switzerland was never beeing threated. It's not about the guns,it's about who lives there.
Because,if would be only about guns, my friend,Afganistan would be the freest country in this World!!!

Blind carbon copy (BCC) everyone who is interested, all at once. No one can see who else is getting the message. Except the feds, and hackers, I presume. If you don't see a BCC address line below your TO: and CC: lines, just click "Options" at the top of your Outlook message to the right of "Insert", and you can activate BCC there. 4. When a law is passed by the feds it will go to the states who will pass it to the countys who will give it to the citys to inforce. They will ask that you surrender your weapons. They might even offer to pay for them, as some places are already doing. Then they will check their file of GUN REGISTRATION CARDS and a number of officers, well armed, will show up at your door and"remind" you that you didn't turn in your gun. Most will meekly submit. The rest, well thats what the swat team outside your door will be for. Eather way they will get you firearm!!!

    5. Senator Feinstein's legislation that will be introduced January 22, 2013 has in it the ability to spend hundreds per weapon to "register" it and "protect" the gun owner. Then upon death you have to give the gun to the Federal Government because you cant sell it or give it to your children. Sure the government cant get all the guns in a few months. But over a generation of offering free cell phones to those who turn in guns, and confiscating the ones citizens keep... they can get the majority.

  9. Interesting perspective and I will now go and read more of the soviet history reported above. Having lived in the US for the past two years I agree with the above comment that most people would not give up their guns as they would vote against anybody that brought in gun legislation. However,I also believe if the govt legislated gun control most of the population would abide and give up guns. So they only way to save yourselves is to continue to support right wing nut job NRA lobbyests. Don't give up guns, raise taxes through a flatter broad based tax that captures the black economy and the rich. ie VAT or GST. Deal with your bloated and inefficient health care and stop pissing 10% of your GDP down the drain whilst denying basic health care to everybody.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. NRA are less and less supportive of individual gun ownership. They are mainly business lobby: when government budget was smaller, it made sense for the business to fight hard for individual gun rights; now with the overblown government budget they supported (or even coined in?) the bright idea of 'armed guard at every school' after the recent New City shooting. It is risky to oppose the government; thus as soon as the sums the government spends on guns size and those left for citizens to spend on their whim after taxes become comparable, it becomes only natural for the business to move from supporting freedom to supporting government.

By the way, the situation when business becomes government-loving from freedom-loving is the original definition of the fascism (as fascism was born in Italy in 1921 when 'National Fascist Party' was founded, well before German variant came to live).

There are other organizations, such as NAGR and less known peripheral groups like Oath Keepers that seem to be more concerned with Constitutional rights than supporting gun companies; but they are understandably weaker as they do not enjoy organizational and financial support from the businesses and citizens' support has been lately losing to lobbyists' big way.

  10. The government will not just pass a simple law that says turn in your guns. It will be a hefty tax on purchases and registration fees that will at least slow the buyers down in the future. Say you purchase a semi-auto pistol for $500 and the tax and registration fees cost another $500. How many guns do you thing would be purchased? Then as time passes newer laws will pass to deny the purchase of certain types of weapons and then on down the road more new legislation to stop the sell of others until one day you wake up to no gun sales. Who know what the gun grabbers of tomorrow will come up with but IT scares me to think that we could in time become much like Germany in pre-war era.
And why are so many laws passed to suit the few instead of the masses wishes. What kind of government is it that we have now? I don't trust anyone who is in Congress.

  12. I have not seen one single suggestion, even from the most left-wing sources, that American should give up their guns (handguns and hunting rifles), only assault weapons and automatic weapons. This piece is an overreaction, in my my opinion.
Guns have one purpose only, which is to kill (people or animals). It is sad that so many people live in constant fear, and believe they must carry a killing machine to protect themselves. Some years ago I was target-shooting with friends in a Louisiana bayou and the handgun accidentally discharged while I was holding it. Luckily, no one was hurt, but the incident cured me of ever wanting to own a gun. I would like to see statistics on the number of injuries and fatalities from gun accidents.

    5. The weapon went off because you were foolish enough to grap ahold of it before being properly informed on how to do so. Did you drive a car without being told how to do it. I think not. The constatution says all guns. Thomas Jefferson said he signed the 2nd admendment because we will need the guns, some day, to protect ourselves against our own goverment. I like to think that we lasted this long because of it. Further I am not in constant fear and I like to think that the reason is because I have a weapon around if I should need it. Its not a pea shooter, hand gun or a small hunting rifle. How would I defend myself against a military mob?

      Delete
    6. guns 99.9999% of the time don't go off unless you do something ignorant or stupid. It is called a negligent discharge for a reason. And if you don't know what you are doing or are too dumb to follow simple safety instructions... then I agree you probably shouldn't carry a gun. And you are very wise to acknowledge it yourself.

      Delete
    7. Complete ignorance, original poster. "Automatic" guns were banned in 1934 and 1986 already. The military and gun makers define "assault rifles" as being intermediate caliber and capable of firing in burst mode, which none of the new selling ARs to the public does. So essentially you are calling for banning of self loading rifles, which are called "assault" rifles bc of cosmetic features. In other words, they look scary bc your firearm knowledge consists of Hollywood movies and the media's stellar reporting.

You are advocating banning something that is already banned! Not to mention that self loading rifles are linked to around 323 murders in 2011 by the FBI's stats - yet there were over 500 murders last year in Chicago - where guns are banned - alone. Far more people are beaten to death with fists, with clubs, or stabbed to death with knives than murdered with a rifle - not to mention pistols being involved in around 18 times more deaths, yet why are pistols not the focus instead of self loading rifles?

No firearm is capable of simply "going off" - only clueless morons who don't let their ignorance of firearms stop them from handling one think that happens. You pulled the trigger, then tried to blame the firearm.

If guns have only one purpose, and one has to be in "fear" to have them, then why do the police and military have them? What about drone strikes? How much fear and what purpose do they serve besides blowing Muslim children up so Obama can look tough on terrorists?

      Delete
    8. BTW, guns do NOT have "one purpose" as is commonly stated by fascist gun banner types. Just the other day, an elderly relative of mine defended her home from a robbery attempt by pointing her firearm at him through the glass door. It was only after she pointed her pistol at him and informed him that she was about to shoot that he ran away.

It took the police over thirty minutes to get there after she called 911. So in this case, as well as many, many others every year, the firearm served the purpose of saving property and the life of a woman in her 70s.

If it were up to Feinstein, Schumer, Bloomberg, etc. - she would not have been able to defend herself, and would have been at the mercy of the drugged out would be robber for thirty minutes before the police arrived. This is why the public is against gun banning radical fascists other than in some of the big inner city areas.

"If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently."

Until now I had been under the impression that Washington aided the Whites through a direct intervention. If it were claimed that Washington aided the Reds to make Europe safe for the Communist Party and the social democrats, I would have agreed wholeheartedly.

No quarrel, however, with the claim that leftists do not hate guns. In fact, it has long been obvious that leftists have such a high regard for the efficacy of guns that they eagerly support the cops and military personnel whom they expect to do their dirty work for them while armed with guns.

A knife is also a killing machine. So also a bottle of aspirin, a vial of acid, a metal bar, a car (in spades).
