Is Jack Hunter Secretly Writing for the Mitch McConnell Campaign?

Since the Left went after Jack Hunter for his old writings and radio commentary, Hunter has become unemployable in the political sphere. Which is why I found it odd that Hunter fell on his sword once again last week in a piece for Politico magazine.

I wrote, when the Politico piece first came out, with its fawning over Rand Paul:
It is hard to understand Hunter's comeback strategy here. Does he seriously think the neocons are going to allow him to get close to Rand or any other politician?
But maybe Hunter has decided that the best he can do right now is be a ghost writer for Rand Paul Inc.

There's an attack piece in Kentucky.com on Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is running on the Democratic ticket in an attempt to unseat McConnell. The piece carries the byline of McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton but, I have never seen Benton write before in the style used in the article. The prose flows. Benton's writing style is more plodding. The Kentucky.com piece has all the style hallmarks of the Southern Avenger. Yes, it appears the Southern Avenger is now using the wordsmith's version of a hood, as he toils to write and advance the careers of power seekers.

    1. Oh come on.
You have to be on our side before you can become a traitor.
Your BS-alert didn't go off on this clown when he started riding Rand's coattails?
