Dear Redmond, Dave:

This is just about the best critique I have ever read about fractional reserve banking, and I've read a lot of them. That bit about the trains is magnificent!

Dear Larry, George:

I'd love to see your critique of this beautiful attack on your position.

Best regards,

Walter

  1. Look, Robert, we have it from a source much more reliable than Walter Block that fractional reserve banking is just fine: Jerry Wolfgang.
C'mon Jerry! Come over here and show us unwashed cretins how the world really works.

    1. Now I understand what that Steve Horwitz dude was saying about the hate-filled paleo Ron Paul crowd - you guys are not just angry and frustrated, you are unwashed (dirty & smelly old men) and prominently displaying signs of significantly retarded mental development.

Given that you paleo people are devotees of Mises and Rothbard, one can only shudder at what those two would have been like.

Jerry, you poor thing, just ignore this hateful crowd here and move over to the "nicer" crowd at Bleeding Heart Libertarians. They will welcome you.
