EXPOSED San Francisco's Tenderloin

If you are a visitor to San Francisco and make a wrong turn, you are going to learn pretty quickly what price controls and anti-development bring to a city. The Tenderloin is one of the most disgusting areas in any city anywhere in the United States. Some of the most valuable land in the world is prevented from being developed by loony lefties and crony non-profits. It starts right on the backside of the San Francisco Hilton, where many conventions are held. Conventioneers making  a wrong are shocked (and robbed) regularly.

A PBS video provides a decent flavor of the area: here. Though they try to call it a working-class neighborhood, which is a joke. No one works here. The working-classes live outside the city.
