So is this a prelude to the theme - family values - that Republican's are going to use this year to win elections? My guess is the public is going to go with free stuff over some 1980's idea of what constitutes family values.
The real irony is that neo-cons and Progressives have this unhealthy love affair with the past and seem hell bent on doing everything they can to re-create it. They both honestly believe that if only they can re-create it, things would be just fine. Of course the difference is that the Republican's want to take us there socially and the Democrats economically. Neither seems to grasp the fact that things are very, very different now and that there is no way to go back in time or recreate the period they are in love with. Its time to move on and its time to throw these control freaks out whose ideas have created the mess we are in now.
the Bourbons soaked up knowledge like sponges compared the the Republicans, and there were serious suggestions they could get the senate this year. with what?
How can you not be embarrassed for whoever thought this was a good idea for McConnell's campaign?

ReplyDeleteHaven't had a WTF moment like that since his last campaign ad.
ReplyDeleteNot from the campaign. Get serious Wenzel.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha, Mitch McConnell should do a Pinky and the Brain commercial. It would look like this:
